Is 5 days a week a sustainable routine on a cut? Seems like I've lost the strength I once had.

Is 5 days a week a sustainable routine on a cut? Seems like I've lost the strength I once had. I find myself skipping the last couple exercises of the routine/cardio or taking rest days

What's a good rest routine for a 5 day work week.

Or
x/x/x/x/x with a floating rest day where I get one day a week to skip a gym day if I'm really exhausted

The person who made this doesn't know what gaslighting means.

      Isn't lying to yourself gaslighting?

not him and not really. its done conciously by someone to make victim question their sense of reality or sanity. its way of lying yeah but not all lies are gaslighting

Yeah but if you consciously lie to yourself to tell yourself that things are ok, then you are gaslighting yourself. Therefore the OP image is correct.

I admit it's usually a manipulation tactic from another person, but you can manipulate yourself too

i guess its more like ego defense mechanism type lie. if this is done conciously its not gonna do much

You haven’t listed any of your lifts, training history, height, bosyweight, age or anything. This is a hobby you will move on from in a few months.

I've been lifting for 5 years. On and off for 10. It's not a hobby. 30yo. On a -1000 calorie cut aiming for 2lbs a week loss

I’m asking your current stats so we can help you. You should’ve be doing an advanced program if you’re a beginner. You shouldn’t be doing a beginner program if you’re advanced. You fat gay little moron.
You are going to give up within a few months and forget all about this.

do you usually work out 5 days a week? ultimately you can lose a day on a cut if you want, but be sure to calculate a rough caloric burn for whatever you're skipping, and then factor that into your cut

re losing the strength, its more that you have no energy because you're at a caloric deficit than you having permanently lost the strength, you'll find 95% returns once you eat more

I've been working out 5 days a week since covid. So if I finish the 4 remaining days and do a bit more cardio, I can make up for that lost day? Makes sense

But where should I put that rest day? Smack dab in the middle of the week?

You know what, I'll give myself that rest day on Wednesday but I'll make it rest/cardio. So if I'm exhausted, I rest. If I'm not ill just go and run 2 miles do some stretches then come home. Then I can play it by ear. And still get my 5 days in

                Thanks
