If you feel well-rested, yeah.
Generally no.
"If you take all the humans on earth and round the percentage of people who can optimally run on 6 hours of sleep per night, the number of the percentage is 0"
You guys think I could study for one hour a day and work out for 45 minutes a day while sleeping 6+ hours
As long as your workout is decent in those 45 minutes, but remember rest days, and try to make the minimum 7 hours.
t. a dude who sleeps only 5 hours many nights
I guess balancing those things you think it's doable?
For sure, seems like a efficient schedule. Even better if gym time is directly adjacent to your time spend at school/work.
Start out with it and make adjustments accordingly. Doesn't have to be perfect from the get go
I've ran on 6 hours of sleep for years now. I'm pretty strong and athletic, but kinda fat too. I've found it VERY difficult to lose fat, even if on a caloric deficit (note that I'm saying fat, and not weight). In the last year I've been pushing closer to 7 hours of sleep and I've started seeing the fat drop. I've also had a lot less nagging from past injuries.
If you don't sleep, you'll be fricking with your recovery and your hormones. Your cortisol will be through the roof; you'll find it difficult to recover and you'll be puffy all the time.
I wouldn't recommend it.
I think this is some white people shit. When I was under sleeping I was skinny as shit lmao
same but im white
It was probably due to you beeing too poor to buy food but yeah frick wytppl
6 is good. 4.5 is enough. 3 isn't enough.
No
i can't sleep more than 6h
literally not using alarm
i go sleep at 11:30 fall asleep around midnight and literally wake up at around 6 or 6:15 every single day
idk why you guys are lying
people sleep differently
i lift full body 5x a week after my 9 to 5 too
you should be getting atleast 8. 8pm to 5
how could you possibly sleep more than 6 hours every single night anyways?
Are people counting laying around as 'sleep'?
no, sleep is the base for everything. you cannot grow with a shitty foundation
sleep helps with brain gains and muscle gains, both you neurons create synapses and your muscles regenerate while you sleep, you the more sleep the more recovery and memory, and so the better
if you asked why i had a stroke mid sentence is because i slept 3 hours today, proved my own point
Maybe, probably not
Go to sleep early enough so you don't need an alarm clock and just wake up naturally. Unless some sickness prevents you from sleeping you will sleep the exact amount your body needs.
