    Yes its impressive strength/weight ratio. No you wont get to 5 plates natty, but you will probably be able to get to 3 plates and beyond if you gain weight and try really hard which is great already

              5’9 is average height. Absolutely nothing wrong with it, don’t listen to the bullshit on here. That guy is an extreme anomaly and I suspect he’s using. No real evidence but if he’s not it’s just an absolutely unreal bench for his weight and even on gear it’s extremely impressive. It’s going to be difficult to hit that on tons of gear, much less natty. Not worth trading a nice physique at 137 to be an absolute fatass at 200 and still probably not hit 4 plates. You have good strength just stay lean and see what you can do

                In that case just realize it’s extremely unlikely regardless of how fat you get. 95% of the guys at the gym benching 4 pl8s have done multiple cycles, the other 5% are like 6’4+ and fat as fuck.

            there are limits to natural strength and muscle gain. UFpwrliftr is maxed the fuck out on his chest gains. he might put 20lbs on his bench in the rest of his entire life. Putting on an extra 45lbs of fat isn't going to magically make him stronger.

              I trained with a lifetime natty who benched 4 plates and I was there to see it, but the dude wasn't natty and it was his best lift, I looked more muscular than him despite of the fact his bench was 40kg heavier than mine
              everytime he got close to 10% bf his bench would drop like a rock.
              if you look at all the "half natty" bodybuilders that compete in natty federations they all lose strength like a mfer when they get lean not even contest shape but just 10% bf lean, I've seen bench press strength 30% drops it's fucking crazy how much fat and water weight helps with bench pressing.

        There's no reason to eat that much of a surplus you're just gonna put on fat
        Only reason I can think you'd want to do that is if you're bloatmaxxing but otherwise a surplus of 300-400 should be fine

        Are you saying you've been bulking non-stop since last November? Think your calories may be off since you should be a fair bit heavier than you are. Unless you're doing cardio as well. I still wouldn't call it a bulk though.

      WR was above 5 plates before steroids became commercially available, so yes it's possible. I'm sure there's at least a few autists today who solely on bench and are able to do so natty.

    Everyone that benches 4-5 pl8 are on gear, period. It's non-negotiable. I don't care if they don't look like IFBB pro's, they are still using heavy androgens.

      Not entirely true. It's true for 99.9999% of people, but there are rare genetic freaks and they usually go on to take steroids anyway so you never know their natty potential. Nevertheless, there are a handful of freaks who can get to 4 plates natty.

      Good for your bodyweight. Keep on grinding and see where you end up. 3pl8 is definitely in the books for you, beyond that you'll have to find out. Just don't get too fat chasing strength, even if you don't care about looks you're going to feel like shit and health is going to go down the drain

      Disagreed hard. 4pl8 bench is very rare but 3pl8 is fairly common amongst strength athletes. Obviously elite level to normies but barely entry level to actual trainees. I saw fit people benching 3pl8 daily in my old gym, it is nothing special

      I'm around 190 5'10 and can bench 375 right now. There are a ton of dudes in my gym who can do 315, some teenagers around 165-170 lbs bodyweight. Granted, I've been lifting specifically for strength and bench has always been my favourite lift. But even still, you're either coping or extremely delusional. I recommend you seriously switch to a more serious gym or something.

        The difference between 3pl8 and 4pl8 bench is immense. 3pl8 is achievable for most trainees with some decent programming, 4pl8 requires serious dedication and prowess

          Yes of course. But given enough time and effort a lot of people can achieve it, more than most people think at least. I've seen it first-hand. The thing though is that you have to be extremely efficient and hyperfocused on the bench specifically, which most people aren't. But if you do that then 4pl8 is most definitely achievable.
