Is a Chipotle burrito even worth it? Is it good enough nutritionally?

Is a Chipotle burrito even worth it? Is it good enough nutritionally? Or do I just make some ground beef and cheese enchiladas at home instead?

I like burritos with rice, beans, lettuce, sour cream, tomato, onion. By the time you get to the meat and cheese there's barely any room.

You are full of shit because they do the meat first.

Not like they'll add any regardless. They'll drop 8 lbs on your burro and then take 7.999lbs off and put it back into the warmer

I have a double steak burrito bowl from Chipotle every weekend, sometimes no rice. Steak + Chicken sometimes too, add guac.

Normal black beans, cheese, sour cream, lettuce, tomatillo green salsa. Extra fajita veggies, extra corn salsa. A tortilla on the side sometimes if I'm feeling it.

If you make your food yourself at home, you'll save a lot of money.

Would you rather have time, or -$15? For those not in poverty, the answer is simple. I would rather save hours of my life when a meal at Chipotle is equivalent to about 15 minutes at work.

I live next to a Chipotle so I usually just order it and then go through the drive-thru, only about 5-8 minutes round trip.

This is a normal wage for hourly workers, I choose to not be salary even though there's more pay.

Normal wage for hourly workers is $25 or less an hour. Once you move up they almost always force you to take salary.

I am a bad cook, most of my diet is sandwiches, wraps, and I meal prep on Sunday 5 dinners of pasta that I have with a bagged salad. Weekend dinners are almost always dining out or Chipotle.

they just make you take painful liquid Diarhea butt piss shits. yes it is better than almost any other fast food option; if you are in a situation where you have to get some fast food and you just don't have time to make something, then Chipotle is a passable option. maybe try the salad bowl if you want something closer to actually being healthy.

I haven't eaten it in a long time but it is the only fast food I'll eat. They do cook with seed oils though. Still though, a bowl with rice, steak, chicken, whatever the hell that spicy red sauce is, and fajita vegetables is where it's at.

My usual dinners are a poor mans version with ground beef, instant rice, vegetables, and whatever sauce or salsa I feel like eating.

do you think eating the exact same thing except you made it at home has "more nutrients n shit"?
    really

Yes. I can cook actual foodstuff instead of sawdust, I can use olive oil instead of sneed oil, when I make wholegrain bread I can use 100% wholegrain flour instead of mostly processed flour with some added wholegrain and dyes.
I control the ingredients and their composition. That way I don't get israeliteed.

Get the bowl instead, you get way more filling for the same price. If you really want a burrito just get a side tortilla with it and make your own

Easy to make at home, and more quality control. Home made salsa is always good to have in the fridge.
