Probably. Methionine restriction is the most likely reason why, not because meat itself is bad for you or anything. You could possibly achiever similar results as a meat eater by supplementing with glycine.
No. It doesn't give anti-aging benefits. The health benefits of the pescetarian diet comes entirely from the fact that you're not suppose to eat candy and essentially most junk food. However, you can avoid junk food on a normal diet and get the same health benefits.
>supplementing with glycine
You don't need supplements as a meat eater. Ever heard of bone broth? Also eat the chicken skin. Don't throw it away.
>It doesn't give anti-aging benefits
It does, due to methionine restriction as I said previously. >You don't need supplements as a meat eater. Ever heard of bone broth? Also eat the chicken skin.
Yes, that also works. The reason I said supplementation is because most people only eat the muscle meat parts. If you eat the skin and cartilage then you won't have this issue. Not many people do though, at least not to the extent required to have a balanced ratio of amino acids.

What did he get wrong in your view?
I'm not this anon
sugar, fasting, fructose for example
but he pretty much answered for me. He's also half wrong about pufas. It's more complex than what he's come out with it.
Frick no. You have to eat two and a half MORE food to get what you're not getting from meat. It doesn't counter aging, but being fit and active does, plus not eating pre-process foods like GREASY FRIED meats or sneaks greatly helps. Cooking your meat like a sane person and eating veggies will always outperform just pure veggies.
OR, at the very fricking least, DON'T cut out eggs from your diet. Eggs are superfoods that are PACK with all the shit you'll ever need.

Do you ever do anything besides raypeat stuff you heard online?
I actually don't agree with most of ray peat's stuff. You're confusing me with other anons. He is right about methionine though.

This is dumb as frick. Muscle meat already has 2-1 or 3-1 ratio of glycine to methionine

I think I'm going to start limiting my meat intake and eat more fish eggs and veggies and fruits, but I won't cut out meat completely
