Is earthing a scam or something worth trying?
I just put my feet in wet grass and it felt amazingly calming, is that just placebo?

>literally "touch grass - the concept"
>wonders if it helps
dumb fricking urbanite subhuman, touch grass and then kys
This. I love that it's considered revolutionary that nature is good for your well being. Tiktok frickheads should be thrown into a volcano.
this is a great way to get parasites. Spend time outdoors (you gays live in the city lmao) but wear shoes please.
I live in a swamp.
Man it must be hard finding the time to be such a massive homosexual.
BOOBA
You’re an idiot feet are the next toughest thing on your body second only to the top of your skull as long as you wash your feet at the end of the day and don’t go stomping barefoot thru something moronic like the bottom of a water treatment plant full of broken glass or with open wounds on your feet. Barefoot in the grass is fine
Yep, this is how far gone we are. Our cure is outside, its just dry/wet/cold/hot/THE TEXTURE IS BAD so we cloister ourselves inside and make ourselves sick, where if we were to just go out, we'd realise we like those things
doesnt sound like a scam exactly.
i walked barefoot around my neighbourhood and the grass gave me a great tingly feeling and made me happy. concrete gave me a blister though. gotta accept the world aint made for you, by other people, sadly.
Tenderfoot skill issue.
T. Barefootmaxx missing link. Barefoot all year in Florida on scalding hot asphalt.
fair enough. ill try doing it more often. did not like the accosting from my mother how i walk around barefoot for attention though.
I'm not sure how far you want to take this but I used to be able to step on broken glass without it cutting my feet (by accident, of course), and could put out a cigarette on my heel. I know old people who could sprint across oyster shells (common for parking lots down here, will absolutely lacerate your feet), when they were children. Only started wearing shoes regularly when I got tired of stepping in things like spit or motor oil. Now I try to be barefoot as much as possible, (not in inner cities or downtown anymore, but at the beaches, springs and innawoods often) and just wear my Vivo's or flip flops when I should be wearing shoes.
it takes around a year to achieve the full thickness of callus that a human sole is capable of producing
during that time you have to be exposing the tissue to pressure & friction on a daily basis
calluses are built up of dead skin, and it takes around a month (a bit less for children/teens) for a newly-divided cell in the dermis to die and be pushed out to the epidermis
>similar experience, my childhood neighborhood had oyster cement streets and by the end of summer I could walk a mile and a half down to the park with no problem, even if it was the middle of the day and it was hot enough to fry an egg on the pavement
>when I tell people about this they think I'm bullshitting
Impressive, but you live in a hot climate so you are weaker than me by default. Do you shovel snow everytime it snows, deal with -20F weather and lower, and have to suffer through winds that freeze your uncovered face in less than 5 minutes? No? Then you are weaker than me. This applies to all people that live in hot climates. Sorry, I don't make the rules, yes, this is the reason Black folk live in hot climates.
I do not. Sounds kinda gay tbh. I'd rather go to the beach, surf, and look at the booba that abounds. I do like snow though. You better be ice bath maxxing. Best wishes anon
I prefer walking on concrete though, once you get used to it the feel on your feet can be quite nice.
I bought a grounding sheet seems to help me sleep better. Could just be placebo but that's fine by me.
Earthing is just a scam by Big Earth to sell you more dirt.
>earthing a scam
yes
I levitate everywhere
men avert their eyes from me
women wet themselves in terror
not an animal makes a sound
swarms of starlings fall from the sky, dead before they hit the ground
livestock begins walking in circles
do not speak to me, and meet my gaze only through a storefront's reflection or a mirror, for your own safety
Our brains did not evolve to process sensory input relating to modern materials. It doesn't mean modern materials are bad, it just means natural shapes, sounds, smells, tactile sensations etc induce a slightly lower cognitive load. Shrimply put, nature feels good. Energy related pseudoscience is just mumbo jumbo to make people feel smart for occasionally looking at trees.

True. One time when i cam out from the woods and to civilization i noticed how many straight lines there where, and how little straight lines there are in nature.

God I hate you morons so fricking much. You are worse than Black folk. Your IQ is probably 10 maybe 12.
i deadlift barefoot
>Is earthing a scam
do people pay to put their feet on the fricking ground
people pay for 'conductive materials' with wires that you plug into an electrical socket. Pillows, mats, entire mattresses, clogs. In this respect it's a variation of people paying to put weak magnets in israeliteelry.
the actual health benefits are probably from going outside and finding some grass.
Touch a door knob. Kill 5g.
>I was in an environment that was very simple, calm, and made me present at that moment
You might as well ask if work environment is somehow causing you stress
How about magnetic mattress pads?
It’s new age bullshit, but if you find it therapeutic to just stand in the dirt and grass barefoot for a while you should just do it. Even if it’s just placebo, placebo can yield pretty powerful results and I can think of a few benefits for a modern person that would come with just disconnecting to go sit or stand outside for a while for a while beyond some ridiculous energy transfer theory.
>is it a scam?
Look for someone making money from it. If there isn't one, it literally can't be a scam. It can be ineffective, but not a scam.
Maybe earth spirits are scamming us and the electrons actually flow out of us to it. They're stealing our power, that's a scam.
I am about tosleep so I’m just gonna write the bottomline: yes, walking barefoot about right surfaces is good for you. If it helps btw it doesn’t matter why including placebo
Its legit
you know you get the same results by touching anything outside with your hands? how electricity moves isnt a new discovered phenomenon anon
>Is earthing a scam or something worth trying?
How is it a scam? Do you have to pay to walk around somewhere barefoot?
It's a scam. Earthing shills sell pillowcases for $300. They sell cheap alibaba shoes with a copper plug stuck in them for $200.
>free thing is a scam cause other people try to scam others with other items that aren't related to said free thing
moron
I like barefoot shoes and a pair i liked the look of happened to have the copper plug 'grounding' thing. Ive been wearing them for about a month and I doubt it does anything.
literally touch grass tbh
>the copper plug 'grounding' thing
Explain
