you're a meme.
Yeah, always was. Like who does this shit girls with control issues and religious nutcases? It's not a parade of physically or mentally healthy people that's for sure.
>So what if it's been practiced for 1000s of years, Mortyyyy???
>I don't believe in tradition, i believe in SCIENCE!!!
>Now take out your gay little pocket calculator and start punching in those CALORIES like a good goy!
poast fizeek
No, this is a meme moron
Fasting taught me that i don't need food as much as i thought. It's also great for resetting your body and mind when you always eat goyslop.
Not great long term. IF you rely too much on fasting; especially if you eat garbage during re-feeds you'll regain the weight once you stop fasting regularly.
Don't make it a crutch like so many fat homosexuals here do.
Periodic fasting or OMAD isn't a meme, but its more of a experience of what happens when you gain completely stable blood sugar.
Prolonged fasting is beneficial, especially for lowering insulin resistance, and it teaches you that food is a spook so long you don't actually starve to death.
>it teaches you that food is a spook so long you don't actually starve to death.
this shit's key
Fasting is starvation. It is not a meme.
Fasting starts the moment you stop eating
Nobody should have to endure that. Gonna go get myself my next soda to keep my energy up
>Gonna go get myself my next soda to keep my energy up
Yeah, enjoy that ten-minute energy spike before it comes crashing down.
I always keep a goy's delight nearby just to make sure my body doesn't enter ketosis and i become a ketoschizo
there's some evidence to suggest that fasting is more catabolic to the muscles than traditional calorie restriction / portion control
That being said, fasting was the only thing that allowed me to lose 105 lbs or 39% of my bodyweight.
I wouldn't recommend it for older populations because muscle becomes insanely hard to grow the older you are.
So it's worse on your muscle? On the other hand you can argue actually working out when obese is worse on your bones.
Seems to work for that leangains guy
I've lost 45lbs in 2 months hand have kept it off for 6 months so far. Not a meme
