yeah - just do it 1mg 3 times a week for 80% effectiveness and no side effects (reality is side effects only affects like 1% of people using it just that its noceboed af)
its not bad persay but 5 mg wont give you more results than 1 mg. If you ever start feeling like you're having side effects from fin, go do some bloodwork and measure ur testosterone. If it's low (that has nothing to do with u taking fin btw), then consider TRT because obviously your genetics won't give you a happy life so you need to do pharmaceutical enhancement to improve your life. It's totally worth it imo, both injecting test and taking fin. Some of us just don't have the right genetics to enjoy life to the fullest.
nta, but yes
it doesn't stop you balding, that's what fin does.
however, its effective at growing new hairs. or, re-growing hairs in your bald spot(s). or filling out beards.
there isn't anything that works, at least nothing that is simple, easy and highly effective. at least, not unless you're seriously fricking up in some way, eg really not getting enough sleep.
if you're already living a reasonably healthy lifestyle and want a perceptible positive difference in your hormones, its pills/injections only im afraid.
no, finasteride is not safe.
I personally think that the risk to reward ratio is fricked up.
but I'm also one of the few who got PFS after one month on the poison and is still dealing with sides 10 years later.
They’re actors in the first place because they’re handsome and have great genes. If they were balding at 24 they probably wouldn’t have become famous actors.
every male actor with a good hairline over 30 is on fin
having good genes to be attractive when you're young has nothing to do with having genes to not go bald, as most men reproduce before they go bald anyway.
And when you get hair transplants you need to take fin for the rest of your life or else it'll fall out again
>every male actor with a good hairline over 30 is on fin
no, but many of them are
there's a genetic component to mpb too. not every1 goes bald, people have been known to die of old age with a full head of hair.
there's an image of a heatmap showing the probability of having mpb, iirc it was the mediterraneans that had the highest chance of having it.
also iirc native americans don't have the gene at all, so none of them go bald (unless they have some interbreeding with europeans in their ancestry ofc)
Let's pretend you're not a mentally ill nocebo Black person for a moment. Have you actually gone to a doctor? Have you had your hormones checked? Or in this hypothetical scenario are you one of those losers who circle jerks in those PFS reddit "support" groups?
if u suppress dht youre fine, but if you flatline it entirely to 0 ur brain/endocrine system/hypothalamus(?) freaks out and fricks u over even more.
you want to lower your dht with fin or dht inhibitors but you dont want to wipe it out entirely.
some guys are more sensitive to the inhibitors and nuke their dht levels from the fin which gives them funny PFS for weeks/months/forever
lion mane is interesting too because it also is a beta reductase inhibitor, but also stimulates neural growth factor, NGF, meaning that your brain is more plastic on it.
so theres chuds who get PFS from lions mane, and their brain gets molded into a perma PFS brain, then locked into place once they stop the lion mane.
its over for them.
PFS is real but its just being unlucky and accidentally nuking ur dht too far.
take amphetamine/dopamine agonists to not be bothered by PFS
unironically fin
most of these guys arent spending all day on the internet reading research papers on the side effects of finasteride, they just get it from their doctor or manager and go on with their lifes.

Why frick with your hormones and dick around with lotions/potions when you can just get a toupee glued on, directly solving the problem like a man does.
Bros, if you're worried about finasteride side effects, do topical.
>60ml minoxidil bottle >30mg finasteride >crush and dissolve the fin into the min for 0.05% solution >apply 2ml across the general "balding area" of your head daily
It's fix your hair. I tried it out last year and went from basically 90's Matthew McConaughey hair to having a Superman curl shit in the front, darker, fuller, better. THEN I was a fricking moron and back in January I decided to try oral minox and oral fin again and now my hair's gone back to the McConaughey and I'm getting back on the topical hoping to restore it.
The only downside is that it definitely leaves dust in your hair that looks like dandruff unfortunately, especially applied along the hairline, but whatever.
fin has to go systemic for it to have any effect moron, there's no benefit to doing it topically unless you enjoy having variable amounts of dosage absorbed each time you apply it.
i hate morons so much
Topical finasteride providing local DHT blocking was proved all the way back in the 90's tardgay. They demonstrated positive hair growth with 0 systemic representation using 0.005% topical formulation.
https://donovanmedical.com/hair-blog/topical-finasteride >. We know that DHT is still inhibited in the blood by up to 25 % with some topical finasteride formulations and about one tenth of the amount of finasteride is still absorbed. In other words, a lot less gets into the blood, but it's far from zero. - See more at: https://donovanmedical.com/hair-blog/topical-finasteride#sthash.9EUtq6W0.dpuf
medical literature has become less moronic since 1990, boomer old balding norwood 3.5 old man

Is it bad to take 5 mg a day?

how about minoxidil? is it effective?
also what's red mean? and and if i put my finger up my nose will it hurt? also also
nta, but yes

Surely, people should find ways to boost testosterone and suppress DHT before they resort to pills and exogenous hormones.

bixnoooood oooga booga we wuz trayvoon n sheeit das riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiite I CANT SNEED!
If you don't look good bald, you won't look good with any hair, sorry
Now thats a cope
Yeah, but it didn't do shit to stop my balding. I've lost more hair in the last year than I have in the previous 10 combined.
there's an initial period where you shed a lot of hair. the hair will grow back, stronger
keep up with it.
how do actors never bald?
no, finasteride is not safe.
I personally think that the risk to reward ratio is fricked up.

hair transplants and hair fibers.

They consume the blood of children.
it'll frick up your dick
Why didn't frick my dick?
Good. I hate cooming and coomers. I want no sex drive.

moron.
0.005% shows no systemic absorption. Unless you can cite a study that shows systemic representation at 0.005% topical you have no argument.
Topical is fricking gay and annoying and not worth it for 95%+ of people who get no side effects from fin.
Oral finastride ruins my stomach, so I use topical and it works. I don't see any reason to be mad about this, friend.
>get proven wrong
>"well it works but it's gay!"
Kek imagine being 6,3 and having this cut,why not just shave it and get off the cocaine
