I'm the first to admit that looks are one of the most important things to determine your success with women but I am less attractive than all the guys posted (also bald and older) and still have acceptable success with women. That said, I have never in my life used a dating app and I have a solid circle of friends that I regularly go out with. In person I try to initiate small talk with women and I never single them out or put them on the spot and I have no expectations that our conversation will lead anywhere. I try to see if we connect on some level and how receptive they are. If they are comfortable with me sticking around I can gradually become more flirty if I'm so inclined. I generally keep it as casual as possible and unless we hit it off really well I keep it short, and then just ask for the number or some other shit that can be used to stay in touch and move on. If I approached them and immediately tried to flirt or make it obvious that I am interested they would just look at my face for a split second and reject me. If you're not attractive you want to make appearance count as little as possible.

I was isolated at times too. I've lost friends to the point I didn't have any left (relationships, moving away, etc.) and I always rebuilt a circle of new friends and I keep on working to maintain and extend it, so clearly it is possible. It is actually easier for the exact reason you are pointing out. There are so many people out there that don't have social circles so they are a lot more receptive when you try to befriend them.
I looked like this (still do). But I am now 35 yo with wife and kids already. Thank god I was born just in time that being a bit charming and good at studies/professionally while being bland/slightly under average physically could still get you a life partner. Don't know what I'd do if I was a zoomer

Dating apps are fricked I do get matches and have piped a few girls who I found attractive off it but it's tough for guys. I have a friend who is handsome (no homo) and he didn't do all that well on it either, this was a few years ago now. Last girl I saw off it we were lying in her bed and I was using her phone on Tinder and swiping right was all matches although she was a bit annoyed watching me do it I guess because girls are picky. The messages were crazy too, just seems strange going through having all these dudes unreplied messages compared to me I reply to basically all them unless I lost interest in them.
