5’10 id only short to women, and its only the number online. women have horrible depth perception and cant guess height correctly at all. im 6”5 and have had women guess 6ft, and 7ft.
In sports like football it doesn't really matter other than intimidation, unless your calvin johnson or something. Basketball doesn't matter just look at golden state, baseball maybe for pitchers having a shorter distance to throw. It's all in your head it doesn't matter, but you seeing some 6'4" gigachad can really frick up your confidence, and cause you to overthink things.
>short people are bad at fighting
Does anyone actually say this? Seems like a weird strawman comic. Many of the most famous and successful fighters of all time are “short”.
He was a short heavyweight though. 5"10" fighting guys his weight at 6'3" and up. But this was the beginning of super tall heavyweights. Tyson fury is over 6'9" and his best fights are with guys upwards of 6'7".
While height is important, Tyson's style of getting within striking distance and ruining the comfort of reach taller guys had on him is what made him so good. Aggressive infighting and side steps combined with counterpunching.
I don't think he would do as well with the monsters in heavy right now.
if weight is equal then being short is an advantage, otherwise overall size is the most important advantage
being tall is just an advantage for getting laid
Depends on the sport and the position you play if it's a team sport
>5′ 10″
depends on sport&position, sometimes leverage is most important, sometimes reach

I don't think tall people succeed at stuff like judo. having a low centre of gravity helps with grapples and shorter people fit the bill
>does reach matter

mike Tyson got fricked up by people with decent height and skills (see Lennox Lewis who just jabbed the frick out of him)
This doesn't apply when most of the best fighters are under 6' lol
Define "best"
Height is a huge deal. The only sports where being short is an advantage is stuff like horse racing and NASCAR/F1
in basketball sure, in soccer no
Yes.
