Depends on you goal anon. When I was fat I did LISS because it's easy, I just walked around fast every night for an hour, listening to music and exploring. HIIT is good if you're trying to improve performance or don't have time for LISS.
Megabased. All yoga is either the pursuit of gay oriental superstition or watered down to a consumer product because it isn't. Let the pagan cope and seethe commence.
gait is perfect. it was too m uch, too soon, and i'm 40 lbs over weight
first 3 days of long walks were nice, then rest, then the fourth walk sharp pain all 12 miles and i walked thru it like an idiot, exacerbating the injury. done for 14 days literally (day 12 today, still cant do a long walk)
i cant wait to not be injured
is hiit or liss cardio better to combine with lifting?
Hey OP. I had a whole longer thing typed out but I was questioning myself. You were injured from walking and are overweight
Are you still too hurt to do lower body or anything else. Is your goal weight loss, better stamina, how hard can you push yourself consistantly(RPE)? Do you plan to do it around the same time as lifting or as a seperate session
anyone with a functional brain does both
hiit during heavy lifting day, because your body is already getting mad strained and doing hiit in a different moment is gonna fuck your recovery up
so you combine it with heavy lifting and then you will properly enter your recovery window after you're done with it
and the next day you do liss, which turns gay rest day into based active recovery, as liss workouts are low impact therefore doesn't mess with your recovery window, allowing you to double dip on cardiovascular gains >but if I follow hiit + liss this way, I won't be able to do my heckin' daily le brosplits
I said "anyone with a functional brain" which translates to "anyone who does full body program"
You should be doing both. Liss is aerobic while hiit is anaerobic. While anaerobic workouts will help your aerobic endurance, it wont be as good as dedicated liss sessions.
In short, don't expect to be in shape just doing liss, don't expect to run a marathon doing hiit.
Yes, actually. The book "Hybrid Athlete" goes into this explaining that longer, low level cardio sessions help elevate blood flow to muscles and can increase overall performance. You can find the pdf of it online if you look hard enough.
wtf is liss? Anyway, the rabbit lost that race, so per your picture, the answer is whatever the turtle is doing
The turtle cheated, though. Therefore roids are the real answer?

If you're looking for something to complement your lifting, I recommend yoga- it will help with mobility in the long run.
Yoga is an anti-Christian spiritual pursuit, ill pass
Cringe
>subscribe to my slave morality instead
I'll pass
slave morality is a strawman conjured up by a gay german cuck who went insane because he saw a horse get hit with a whip

So do pilates then, same shit but made by a western man with no spiritual component at all (not that yoga, in practice, has one anyway).
i got injured im fat i was walking too much now i got like 1.5 week to not move to heal fucking stupid now i walk again tho soon very much fast go far
You got injured by walking too much? What's your gait like?

lifting is already hiiit basically
so go with liss,
What about MIST?
Id assume, medium intesity state training?

eata duck bitch
Shit vs piss

So since aerobic system is used to recover between sets, could doing LISS on rest days theoretically decrease rest time between sets of lifting

Just do high intensity steady state. I call it the snake method.
