no, you're out of puberty, but make peace with whatever facial and body hair you have, because no new hairs are going to fill in whilst your on it
to clarify, fin gets rid of most of your DHT, which is VITAL during puberty, but once you're out of puberty it doesn't have very many uses at all. Facial and body hair though, being a secondary sexual characteristic, is reliant upon DHT to come in, but often comes in for a long time after puberty, so getting rid of DHT will slow down / stop it
Try microneedling first. Use ketoconazole shampoo, scalp massage, low PUFA diet, etc.

Frick the doomers, take 0.25mg everyday. Pretty much equivalent to 1mg in terms of serum & scalp DHT reduction with the benefit of avoiding the initial ball ache for 2-4 weeks. Saves you money as well.
Finasteride increases testosterone. Mine is above reference range which led my doctor to believe I was on exogenous testosterone after getting my T checked. Everything else came back perfect.
No side effects. PFS is a myth. Placebo group had similar rate of reported side effects.
Based, I take .5 a day. Hair staying strong and my beard is at 70% coverage. Good enough for me tho I might try minox down the line

most guys are on 1mg every other day (Monday Wednesday friday) because its easier than splitting a pill for 0.5 daily. It works on a curve, 0.5 is like 5% less effective than 1mg but that's basically nothing, the recommended dose of 1mg daily is really a unnecessary for most people
I know it sounds silly but how common are sheds on this thing? I hear horror stories of guys shedding a ton when starting then not regaining their hair
If your hair is receding or thinning then you WILL shed, because fin basically resets the hair growth cycle so those thinning hairs fall out in the first couple months, them not regaining them sounds like people dropping fin and then psyching themselves out after shedding

No side effects but no visible balding or regrowth, so not sure if there's any effect yet.
maintaining is a good thing. You might get some slight regrowth, but its not always 100%. Hence why people say get on fin quickly, because once its gone its usually gone
Been on 5% min foam once a day and 1mg fin eod for a while. Hair is definitely coming back. I had one big min shed when I went on that but I delayed the fin so I haven't had any shed from that--I think the minox shed got rid of the weak hairs.
As far as sides, I had watery jizz for 10ish days. Nothing else. Brain fog one time that I thought might have been fin but having brain fog once in six months isn't really anything I can attribute to the meds. Also, post hairline so we can figure out if you're actually balding or if you just have a mature hairline that isn't the same as it was when you were 11.
been on 1mg/day for 3 years now
first year I didn't notice much, maybe near 1 year end mark it became more stable
now 3 yrs later, my hair is much fuller, i get compliments for having thick hair etc
still rock hard whenever needed, jerk off every other day and frick gf daily np, gym performance been great, hitting PRs often... No side effects at all besides watery semen and slight ball ache the first 2-3 weeks iirc
