Is it as bad as people say or worth 10 bucks a month(+tip) to have somewhere to run on a treadmill?

I've got no issues with it. The massages in the black room are amazing as well.

I'm not a powerlifter though. But I think its fine at least if you are just looking to do cardio and a bit of lifting.

It's worth it because it's cheap and has the bare minimum. I also enjoy watching the morons that don't know what they're doing, it's entertaining

      It's a meme, newfriend.

Yes, its definetly worth for $10/month assuming it is close by and you go when it isn't busy.
I go to the gym at 4am so when I had a PF near me, it was great. Everything open to use, lockers to myself, showers to myself.

      >Clean showers, cardio bunnies, (relatively) heavy dumbbells.
It is based for what it is.
$20 gets you free bulking bagels and pizza, tanning and bring a friend.

Do you just not need barbells?

        No one "needs" barbells.
You can get good results with just dumbells up to a certain point. Some exercises are better with them too since it isolates weight in each arm and you cant compensate with your other side.

Pf also has the barbell machine equivalent, which for as much as it gets memed on by you spergs, is actually just fine for many lifts.

How about you get to using the 100lb dumbells for your incline bench and ohp for reps, and then start worrying about upgrading to a real gym.

My buddy has membership here just for the locker room, half off sips and the b***hes. He does his real lifting at a dank metal gym across town with tractor tires out front (not crossfit shit)

If they actually had free weights, then it would be pretty much perfect.
PF only has machines, which is too much of a limitation for me. It's just too bad the next best option (Anytime Fitness) costs over 5x more

I literally just signed up for the platinum package. In the locker room two Mexicans were breaking into lockers ….

No it's fine for cardio. It's bad for actual lifting tho simply bc of the lack of squat racks and bench presses
