Is it even possible to get 17-inch arms while being

I just measured mine and they barely hit 16, granted I don't blast biceps with the intensity I should but they seem fairly useless for the main compound lifts. Post measured arms if you're going to advise pls and thxs

    6’3 here, mine were 17.5” last winter at the end of my bulk, they’re now 16.25” after my summer cut. Arm= neck is greek god proportions

        Since everyone is just throwing around numbers without pics, I'm natty, late 30s, a hair under 6ft, six pack lean, and my arms are around 15 inches. I don't think they will get much bigger natty unless I gain weight but I'm happy with them. They were closer to 16 inches a few years ago when I was bloofy but they look better smaller and leaner.

        looking good, honestly keeping fit makes your body look like that of an average 20 year olds, impressive tbh

    When you're tall it can go either way. You could put on the same amount of muscle mass as a manlet but it won't add to the circumference. I saw Greg Doucette saying the most ridiculous thing in his video about arm size - he says manlets should add 1 inch to their biceps size for every six inches shorter than they, which is "only fair". Holy copeium.

    Just fucked up editing the pics so gotta work with this. Mine peaked at 16" (left) but I always felt I should be able to add at least another inch just because my triceps are lacking. At my peak they also looked like fatceps despite being relatively lean, because I tend to store a little bit of fat in my arms. Right is a little leaner and smaller but the pics are just shit to compare. The thing is as soon as I stop smashing arms they deflate like crazy. If I am depleted / haven't restored glycogen I could lose an inch cold. On a cut I lose at least an inch from peak size. I was dieting for summer and then had some tendonitis so I couldn't train arms and they went down to sub 15" on some days which scared the shit out of me. Luckily they should get back to normal in no time.

          I think trying to get bigger delts is what got me the tendonitis in the first place, because I switched from BB OHP to heavy single arm DB press and just swung the DBs up and really the whole setup felt terrible on my elbows. I think I will stick to regular OHP and then go a lot lighter on DB press if I keep them in but for now I'm still recovering.

      cmon bro read in between the lines, yes the taller you are the more total mass you can have but it's spread over a greater distance, leading to a smaller peak. that and taller people generally have longer arms meaning more muscle is needed to achieve the same circumference as a shorter person with proportionally shorter arms.

          when you're training naturally you can't decide to add more size to a certain muscle, they just won't go over their capacity, so by getting as big as possible naturally you'll have some muscles reach their limit way before others and end up looking disproportional, the best natural physiques are not 'at their limit' for that reason.

          In my opinion the people that completely fill out their frame and aren't lacking any body parts / have no weaknesses in their physique don't always look best and you see that a lot with the shorter guys that tend to fill out more easily and then have this stocky look to them. A smaller but taller guy with a nice frame, small waist, broad shoulders, can look aesthetically pleasing even if he has glaring weaknesses and could get a lot bigger.

    Likewise mine barely just hit the 15.5" mark with my skinfold measuring roughly at 1".
    I'm a far shot from lean, and I only really started training a month ago.
    During that time I haven't been directly training biceps, only activating them lightly during compound lifts.
    Before that I was completely sedentary for multiple years, with my only exertion being the odd dump trip or carrying deliveries at work.
    If I'm hitting that measurement without even really trying.
    Then it's easily possible given time and effort, for someone who's lean with a progressive overload training regimen.

    Just remember that it's more about training triceps, and less about showboating with bicep curls.
    Without having that solid supporting underneath foundation which allows for further expansion and growth, you'll see lackluster bicep growth.
    It's a time and again repeated mistake, I see summerfag zoomies and even the experienced who should know better doing it.
    They want juicy biceps for impressing chicks at the beach, yet neglect the the most important part that chicks don't reach in for.

    In addition throw in some sandbag training, and you'll see your gains explode.
    As shaky uneven weight without a center of mass, does wonders at shocking the system which gets accustomed to simple arching movements.
    Sandbag curls, zercher walks, sandbag tricep extensions, sandbag skull crushers these are your best friend and will see your arm gains explode exponentially.

        Aswell as finding sandbag training and ruck running a viable alternative to the gym, when I was strapped for cash and unemployed.
        I still to this day supplement it within my routine, it's great and I implore everyone try it before relegating it to the pile of bro science.
