Is it possible to lose 50 pounds by the summer?

Is it possible to lose 50 pounds by the summer?
i weigh about 257 (down 10 pounds) and i was wondering if that goal is achievable.
i have radically changed my diet to only chicken/grilled chicken, salad, one insta rice a day (picrel), and tons of water, plus fasting here and there.
I can't really do a gym ATM but i do home workouts plus walks whenever i can

    Assumimg you start next year, on a 2 lbs / week loss you should be able to lose 50 pounds by mid June.

        Yes, you should drink water and put some kind of sugar-free (preferably even sweetener-free) electrolyte supplement into it. I personally prepare 1L of water with electrolytes at the start of the day and sip on it as I get thirsty, with a goal of finishing that 1L by the end of the day. If I finish it early I'll get another 1L with electrolytes but I won't go over 2L total for the day.

        You should also remain active every day. Light exercise like walking, but do it regularly you're not sedentary all day.

          what about lemon juice? i put it in (along with real lemon) to add flavor

          when it comes to walks i mainly go short 2-mile walks every day, plus some pushups and crunches (5x5)

            It's probably fine if it's just a few drops, but I personally prefer to avoid it because it tends to make my hunger flare up.

            That's great. Do that, keep up the hydration, and don't be afraid to cut any exercise early if you feel a bit weak or lightheaded. Working out while fasting can take some adjustment, especially on an extended fast if you're not used to doing that.

    Do OMAD and 30mins of cardio every day. Add in weightlifting if you want.

    1 pound of fat = 3500 calories
    3500x50 = 175000 calories
    days until summer = 184
    175000/184 = 951 calories daily
    you're gonna lose more weight at the start of you diet becauer you're probably holding a lot of water inside, but once it's gone you're going to need to lose fat, and to reach it by summer you'll need a 1000 calories deficit daily.
    your TDEE is probably around 2000 calories so just eat 1000 calories daily and you'rd good.

        I didn't say that.
        At first you'll lose way more than it's sustainable long term because you're bloated.
        You could lose 30lbs in the first month if you're like 300lbs. After the first you'd probably lose "only" 10lbs/month if you keep a caloric deficit.

      Anon already ran the numbers. But cutting 900cal per day by diet isnt realistic. OP you gotto ride a cardio bike for 1 hour minimum everyday to get this. Its doable. Infact its not hard at all to ride more each day plus a little deficit through diet. Youll easily loose that much or more.

        exercising is hard
        its easier to stop doing something than do one thing more
        just eat less, don't bother with cardio
        if you must do something, lift
        you can get to your desired weight without exercising at all

    1000 calorie deficit starting now. However, it's probably better if you accept that you'll kill your metabolism long before you reach your goal doing so and you'd be better off taking a slow approach.
