Is it preferable to get your calories in the form of fat or carbs? I'm on a calorie deficit and my diet is looking about:
>30% protein
>30% carbs
>40% fat
Seeing as I'm simply cutting my calories to lose some weight does it make a difference, if it's simply calorie in < calorie out? Or is there a preferred balance of fat and carbs to optimise weight loss?

Low carb = low test
For cutting body fat you want to eat zero carb.
Carbs cause you to retain body fat and lose muscle.
Yes goyim become the buttergolem, yyeeesssssss
I don’t know anything about this guy but in one thumbnail he lost weight and on another video he says he is going back on keto implying he was not for some time.

>posts the same tiresome three year old pic
Guess its no surprise this is a ketoBlack person bait thread
Oof maybe eat some carbs and you could actually build some muscle. Lmao.
How will ketoschizo ever recover.
you will have a much better time with a calorie breakdown like this:
>50% protein
>35% carb
>15% fat
it doesn't need to be exactly this just keep it close. protein and carbs have a thermogenic effect so if you eat 100 calories from protein, you basically are only eating 90 calories. protein will satiate you and carbs will fill your stomach. you need to eat whole grains and lentils to maximize this type of diet. literally measure your cooking oil with a scale or tbs whatever you have. prioritize protein to hit 120+ grams per day, 20-30g fat, and then fill the rest with carbs. you can make a very healthy and satisfying meal with about 750 calories this way.
ignore this moron and others disparaging carbs.
Ignore carb shills like this guy.
Carbs cause higher body fat and lower muscle mass at any body weight. Also carbs lower metabolism and increase hunger. Pic related.
at least make your shitty info graphic pleasing to look at.. my god you people are embarrassing.
Here you go, I cropped the black bars for you.
You want to keep carbs and protein high when cutting. You need glycogen to keep your lifts up. The most important thing is lifting the same amount of weight you were before you started your cut. You need carbs and glycogen to give you the best chance at this.
The best way to keep glycogen up is low carb and fasting.
Idk, try both for us and tell us what works
Carbs obviously. You need carbs to train harder.
I suppose a low carb diet may make sense if you're a hambeast tho
Carbs are a placebo.
Okay, but post body
You look DYEL. OP wants to RETAIN muscle. Not waste it.
How do you have zero (0) muscle?
Wtf
Another proof that ketoschizos are massive hambeasts
They think that a totally average body is something awesome
he looks fine not awesome. if low carb was so terrible he should look terrible
He has the average body that you see on any street outside of America
shouldnt be possible if low carb was so terrible
Most people have awful lifestyles anon.
Looking average is nothing to be amazed at
most people look awful. he doesnt look awful. why you are being so obtuse
I said average outside of America.
He has no muscle, he's just not morbidly obese(but still a bit fat)
ive been all over europe he looks better than most. why are you still lying
You're very fat, aren't you?
the opposite im a skellington
As long as you're getting the required protien and fat then the only thing that matters after that is if your diet is one you can stick to.
Protons and fats are essential for life, carbs aren't. I'm not a ketoBlack person and I love carbloading prior to working out, but you should treat carbs as the least important macro
I request everyone in this thread to post body before posting posting a reply, most people here seem like fatty dyels
How about you post body first, obsessed Black person?
Post body.
You're the one obsessed with cult diets. A extreme diet should have extreme results
low carb is not extreme. it was the norm for 99.9% of human evolutionary history. its extreme now when its normal to constantly shovel sugar and grains into your mouth
Very well, now post body
>muh ancestors
seriously this is such a moronic argument it's amazing you homosexuals keep repeating it.
youre right we should be eating grains and seed oils instead my bad. youve really changed my mind
im not trying to change your mind i hope you homosexuals all die.
It doesn't matter, what matters is that your carbs and fats are junk, for carbs that means don't eat EMPTY carbs like white bread etc because it will spike your insulin, on fats the science isn't settled and anyone having a strong opinion on fats on this forum is just a idiot with bias due to his own way of eating. EVOO however seems to be universally accepted as good
wtf did I do by making this thread. I'm now even more confused. Thanks
try a few weeks or months of low fat then a few weeks of low carb. whichever makes you feel and perform better try to stick with and see what happens. even if you get the "right" answer you might be an outlier. self experimentation is always necessary
Tbh I'm feeling fine with the 30/30/40 split. I tend to gravitate towards animal fats and things out of preference. I'm rarely hungry. I'm averaging about 2200 cal per day, lifting 6 days a week and running 3 days a week
Are you confused by the mRNA injections?
The same people who want you to eat carbs also want you to be injected and boosted every year.
Fat and protein from animals are where you get your nutrients and building blocks from the body, carbs are just an energy source and food for the microbiome, make of that what you will.
Macros are usually 50% carbs, 25% protein, 25% fat
Doesn't really matter as CICO.
>Doesn't really matter as CICO.
It matters if you're in a cutting.
Your protein intake should be higher
Or so the tiktok guy said
Macros matter. Cico is a sham.
Post body
moron take. sugar increases metabolism. you don't understand biology, or cico.
1. It depends on the person. Some do better with fat, some with carbs, and some with protein.
2. You can eat zero carb, but zero fat isn't a good idea due to hormones. Low fat is still possible though.
3. Low carb can help lose visceral fat, although overall deficit is most important.
fat is worthless.

if anybody can access the original text I'd appreciate them sharing.
Protein is all you need. If you have problems growing, then take more tren.
