Is it stupid to do all these in the same day? Flat press, incline press, flys, ohp, side raises, rear flys

Flat press, incline press, flys, ohp, side raises, rear flys
This my push day plus dips and something else for triceps. Sometimes I feel like I'm over training and other times I feel like it's fine I just got to stop whining

yeah, it seems a bit excessive to me, especially the three pressing movements in the same day. how many sets of each are you doing? I feel like you would be getting very diminishing returns on the last few exercises each day
for my push days, I usually do a few sets of low rep, high weight barbell press, and then I will sometimes do some lower weight, high rep dumbbell work with a different pressing movement, or else I'll just do a few sets of dips
then I will add some accessories at the end
I think you should try reducing the number of exercises you are doing in a given session, and focus on raising the intensity of each one

      >how many sets of each are you doing?
between 4 & 3 and in 7-10 reps range. If I start with chest I can reach 10 reps comfortably, but I lag when I switch to shoulders (7-8 reps range) and vice versa.
      >I think you should try reducing the number of exercises you are doing in a given session
what should I drop without sacrificing development? sometimes I think incline and ohp in the same day is not very smart but I do them anyway because I had ass level delts awhile ago and doing these helped me. Curious to know what you think

Not really. I do the same except I either pick flat press or incline press, I don't do both on the same day.

This might the way to go about it

Why would this be bad? I do lower back press, row machine and tricep push downs one day and then legs and abs the next. How is this at all bad?

If you're doing them in that order I feel like your OHP is getting shafted because you'd be pretty tired for a compound movement like that at that point. Maybe do your OHP as your second press.

agree with everyone saying 3 presses are too much. ditch one of them. and then also doing dips makes it way too much unless you're already strong at them and doing them as a burnout.

ppl is shit for this as you can only really do 2 exercises per body part on push day if you want to keep your workout around 1 hour long.

I don't see a problem with this. On my push day I do 3x5 OHP, 3x8 Incline, 3x10 Flat, then 3x12 decline. Then I'll do flyes 3x15, and finish out with tricep extensions and Egyptian lat raises as my accessories. My workouts are 1-1.5 hrs long including warmup. I've noticed my pecs and anterior delts are far more rounded out hitting all these press angles. Nothing wrong with going high volume if you've got the time for it.

How would you program flat, incline and OHP on PPL?
Doing them all seems like the only reasonable choice.
I know that my OHP is suffering because of this but what else can I do? Do OHP on pull or leg day? Seems moronic

      >doing them all
Doing them all on push day is what I meant to write

Why wouldn't it make sense to do it on leg day? Your shoulders and triceps will be completely fresh

Yeah but the next push day already comes the day after leg day
So then probably bench would suffer from OHP the day before
You just can’t win as a natty

one push day flat, incline and ohp in that order
other push day ohp, incline and flat in that order

Nothing except bench and OHP is required.

No, as long as you also isolate them enough to properly stimulate growth.
