Not at all. I'm 31 and I started fricking around with different kinds of workouts when I was 25-26. I'm still a DYEL because I lacked consistency, and the number one thing that fricked up my progress was not realising that my core was too weak for more linear progression on the squats. I either got demoralised because I stared hating squats doing SS, or I got varicocele and my left nut hurt for weeks. Go get swole, just always realise that the squat is limited by your core strength, not by your leg strength. Ever since I realised that, I've come to love squats.
Why are you telling this yourself now? Have you tried lifting before? There is never too late to start lifting, but you will likely stop like you stopped before.
>Be my dad >Start as a skinnyfat natty in his 50s >Routine is walking up and down stadium steps and ramps with a hiking backpack on >Not even trying to gET sWoLe >A few months later >Quad muscles visible for the first time since high school >Calves get so big his socks don't fit over them >Upper body still looks dyel because "mogging people" was not his goal.
Now imagine if he actually was trying to build muscle. If you had some horrible disease that ages you at double the rate of normal people, it still wouldn't be too late at age 26.
I'm 29 and I've never been fitter
also I actually live with my parents to take care of them and no foreskin muncher can tell me that this is somehow a bad thing
Compared to other athletic pursuits lifting is very forgiving to starting late. There's been people who've started at very late ages and entered bodybuilding competitions (usually against seniors but still).
I'm 26yo, (re)starting gym, going to therapy, taking meds, in a vein attempt to recapture what's left of my youth.
I just wanna frick that 19yo pussy but I have no friends and frick man making friends is impossible when you have none.
I'll either succeed by the time I'm 30 or I'll kill myself.
What you can expect depends entirely on your athletic history and effort.
As an adult out of school (lmao I hope) it should be incredibly easy for you to eat right and hit the gym 3-6 times a week.
No

No, but you do have 2-3 years of work.
I take my 64 year old grandfather to the gym with me and he too is making decent gains. By the time he hits 70 he's gonna be a fricking beast.

I had the same question when I was 26. I asked here. IST told me it's never too late. A decade later, I living proof that IST was right

It'll be too late when you're dead and buried.

don't be stupid.
Go frick yourself I'll be whatever I want to be
26 is still prime.
As you get older your recovery will be slower. Otherwise you can always bulk for gains at any age.
Don't forget your diet. Food is very important for fitness.
imagine being older than 25 and still browsing this site
>that 26 year old lifter
