Generally? Yes you have to fill less space with muscles. Think of a muscle as a cube, the shorter you are the smaller the cube is and it means the cube needs less muscles to be full

no because if u are tall dude, you should be lifting more and eating more.

short people getting bigger it's the ultimate tall man cope. they are not going as hard cuz they are pussy

ofc if a manlet do 140 and you do 140 then he will gain more. you should be doing 150 or 160 as appropriate for your height

in reality, short dudes have bigger drive because they are shorter.

tall guys do have higher risk to frick up their spine with severe injury tho

It is much easier for small cars to be faster than large cars. Power to weight is exponential.

          Anonymous

That's bullshit. You need less power to move a smaller object, doesn't change the fact that a bigger engine has a better power output than a small engine.

A Bugatti Veyron at 1900kg completely smokes a Porsche GTS 3 at 1400kg.

Dumbass, Your example has a 500 hp car vs 1,000 hp car.

Compare both to an F1 car, 800kg with 1,000 hp.

The whole point of Motorsport is to make the car as light as possible with as much power as possible.

We’re also talking about aesthetics. Compare Christian McCaffrey to George Kittle. McCaffrey managed nine reps at the combine but looks jacked….because he’s short. Kittle got 22 and looks skinny (by nfl standards) but is also one of the best blocking TE in the NFL.

Same team, both gifted athletes, both train hard, top tier nutrition, etc but one LOOKS more jacked.

Infinitely, 10 lbs of muscle on some manlet at 5’2” is life changing. 10 lbs of muscle on a 6’7” bball player is completely unnoticeable.

Works the same with fat which is a plus for taller people, you can get away with being out of shape for longer.

    Most bodybuilders are short.

      correct answer

      Anonymous

Yes, but you're assuming a 5'6 man and a 6'5 man would have the same ability to synthesise muscle.
We accept as self-evident that a taller man has a larger appetite because he has more mass to sustain - the tall man's muscles have a larger volume and surface area, and therefore have a proportionately higher volume in which muscle protein synthesis can take place.

If this were true you’d have giants winning bodybuilding contests which never happens. 6’ is RARE in high level bodybuilding. There is an exponential increase in difficulty. You’re suggesting a linear progression which doesn’t exist in nature in any form.

          Anonymous

Starting Strength by Mark Rippetoe is a linear progression found in nature.

            Anonymous

It becomes exponentially more energy to increase lifts the heavier the eight becomes.

Starting strength has you adding 5lbs a week. With a linear progression you’d have novice lifters benching 395 in 1 year (135 starting point) and 655 in two, it doesn’t happen.

Every one of the squares you see in physics equations is an exponential increase.

          Anonymous

That's just a numbers game - for every giant, there are tens of thousands of average-sized or short dudes. Since bodybuilding requires a combination of inclination, determination, genetics, good muscle insertions, etc, it stands to reason that the majority of those who have the right combination of these factors will NOT be giants.

Richters is 7'2. In pic rel he was only 28 years old. If he can achieve this level of mass at his height, then 6'5 dudes have no excuse.

He vehemently denies ped use BUT he reports his 1 rep max using the stupid calculators so he’s an established liar.

Can’t say for sure but I’ve come to conclude everyone, EVERY SINGLE PERSON, who uses their physique to make make money is on something.

      Anonymous

He's fake natty. There's a video somewhere of someone asking him if he thinks it's OK to lie about taking drugs. He goes off on a big cope speech about how as long as you aren't competing then it's fine and nobodies business what you do or do not take and whether you feel comfortable sharing that etc. The guy then asks if he takes steroids and he says no lmao but hey he's not competing so it's not immoral to lie, right?

        Anonymous

idk. I feel the same way and I'm natty. I've had the same conversation when it's inevitably come up with other lifters a couple of times

          Anonymous

You don't think people who use their bodies as advertisement for the supplements/shakes/workout programs they sell should have to disclose whether or not they're on steroids?

If you're talking about someone who is just a lifter then I'm with you that it's entirely their own business, but if you're selling something it's absolutely immoral to lie about it and mislead people into thinking they can attain your physique if they just buy your products.

            Anonymous

How is that any different to someone who doesn't get money lying about their natty status? I think it's a dog eat dog world and you can stand on your pedestal and seethe but they're getting paid and they obviously don't care. I have no sympathy for idiots who eat it up. Sell them a dream who cares. You only do because you're not willing to do it really. Why not start a movement exposing the fitness industry. You don't really care, you just don't like that someone is bigger than you and making money cheating. Let them have it, it doesn't come for free

              >How is that any different to someone who doesn't get money lying about their natty status?
It's completely different because there's the motivation of money involved and the exploitation that follows dipshit. You can not care about the people who fall for it but you can't call it the same thing as keeping a personal secret that impacts nobody.

              >You only do because you're not willing to do it really. Why not start a movement exposing the fitness industry. You don't really care, you just don't like that someone is bigger than you and making money cheating
That's a lot of assumptions and projection there buddy. I don't give a frick about someone being bigger than me, someone always is and someone always makes more money. So what? It's very telling that your defense of the matter is crying "jealousy" and "do something about it". Am I jealous of someone who gets rich selling drugs to children because I say I disapprove? Can I not ever talk about it when it's brought up without being told to join the police and put an end to crime or shut up? Taking the stance of "don't ever say anything critical unless you're prepared to personally bring it to an end" is a very dumb stance to take and the hard cope that is thinking disapproval must be motivated by jealousy is frankly embarassing. Give your head a shake man.

I don't care enough to do anything about it, only enough to post on an Hungarian sheep shearing forum, but I do feel for the young lads who fall for it because they don't know any better.

The fitness industry has been nothing but snake oil salesmen for at least half a century.
