I'd only use it for a handful of things like incline bench, spider curls, and maybe some row variations. probably not worth it but I don't want b***h breasts from no incline
And? You have no business building a home gym if expense of 300-500 impacts your decision making whatsoever. Like what the frick? Thats completely irrelevant sum of money. I mean I might spend 300€ going on a fine dinining tomorrow? That bench is a lifelong investment and going to last for your grand grand kids in non-commercial use. You are seriously going to limit your training from having a adjustable bench for a fricking 300-500? Its so absurd I dont even know how to gather my thoughts to go any further on this subject.
I scored my rogue bench off some divorced roatsie on fb marketplace and got it for $150. It's a rogue monster with a thompson fat pad. At the time noone was selling a halfway decent adjustable and anything brand new was out of price range since I was still in school at the time.
Not mandatory, but I would sell you ultimate flat bench and use the money to buy one of those. >incline bench press >incline OHP >flat bench press >good spinal support for seated OHP >decline bench press
If you want, I don't mind.

I'm happy either way, it's up to you.
I like you.
Better question is, is it a good idea to spend more on the damn bench than the cage?
I wanted a decent one at 16", but only few choices are 300-500, which is like 150% more my cage wtf.
Buy a more expensive rack bro.
OP yes a FID bench is key to a home gym. You will use it all the time and won't regret it.

yeah
I only do incline.
I think the big lower chest looks shitty and boob like.
Same.
I only have a pull-up bar at home with some weight, but because of space limitations I can't really home gym. Only in the summer.
That being said, at the gym I only use an incline now. I gave up on flat bench, so like I said here
, just go incline. Better that way. A big flat bench is only good for a big flat bench, incline is aesthetic as frick.
You can do so much shit with adjustable so yeah
I only bought a flat bench when I built my home gym and I do regret it quite frequently.
Wtf did you waste money buying a flat bench for? Let alone a high end one.

Sell your flat for a profit and put that toward an incline. Voilà.
Yes. I have a flat bench with a fat pad and I also have an adjustable for incline presses.
I own this exact one but in black.
lol yeah, why the frick did you buy a “super high end” flat bench? Are you moronic?
Not mandatory, but I would sell you ultimate flat bench and use the money to buy one of those.
