Not exactly. They put dies into the feed. Same chickens that are fed with carotene additives so that their eggs would look organic

Wild salmon meat can be that color but they do feed farmed fish canthaxanthin to disguise a pinkish/gray meat. Food coloring also gets used. If you cut the filet open and the middle is pink instead of orange then it was definitely dyed.
