2 weeks ago Reply Anonymous Wild salmon meat can be that color but they do feed farmed fish canthaxanthin to disguise a pinkish/gray meat. Food coloring also gets used. If you cut the filet open and the middle is pink instead of orange then it was definitely dyed.
