promoting moronic shit that keeps people dyel
Mentzer really was the best at this, wasn't he?
I'll admit I got taken in by his HIT BS for a while.

Is HIT really BS though? I've seen some ripped guys swearing by it

They're on steroids. Anything seems to work if you take enough of them.

Yes, the literature has conclusively refuted it, and virtually no high-level bodybuilder or powershitter does it, for good reason.

Why would you take advice from someone who looks like this. I've hardly ever seen a more untrustworthy face before.

He's good but most of what he recommends isn't necessary for most people. Still one of the best "functional" training youtuber I've watched

I saw pics of him when he was younger and focused mostly on bodybuilding. He was way bigger and leaner than this. He purposely got smaller because he started focusing more on athleticism instead of bodybuilding

            >He has admitted to used supplements he later found out was roids and dropped them after that and warned others about the same
Ok, so the guy's a roidtroony who built his physique using gear (and probably some basicbitchbrosplit), and now peddles memeshit to normies who mistakenly think they'll get his results doing that.
I just dug up the video, and as I expected, the "supplements" he "accidentally" took were prohormones.
I think it's more likely he rationalized it to himself at the time, that they were just "prohomone supplements," not "real steroids" (given how they were marketed) rather than him having no idea what he was taking.
Normies don't realize how big prohormone were in the 2000s.

Basically prohormones were to boomers what SARMs are to zoomers, except with much worse side effects (especially the liver).
They were discarded steroids that never made it to market because they were too toxic, but through a loophole, they were legal in the US, and even sold in regular stores (and online).
Some people legit didn't realize they were steroids, but the vast majority knew exactly what they were, and would often buy PCT along with them.
