I have a ridiculously weak upper body but I’ve added these to my routine. Much more difficult than barbell bench press but I can see the benefits for stabilizing muscles and range of motion.
I prefer barbell incline bench.
Where most people frick up is setting the incline too high, for me the perfect spot is around 15 degrees. 30 works too, but 45 just turns it into all front delts and tri's
rate my chest routine
upper day 1 >bench press >incline db press >chest fly
upper day 2 >decline bench press >db bench press >chest fly
24-26 sets per week total for chest
I do both. I am thinking about doing the reverse inclined press or some exercise bands to hit my lower peck. If you are only doing one you are not getting the most out of your workout.
A little bit of perkiness for shape would be nice. I don't want to be that guy from 8 Mile. I actually looked that up just now. He didnt even have much of a chest. I think this board is giving people unrealistic standards.
Do both? Or are you that weak you can't do two exercises in one session
Ye this is like when people fight over preacher curls and straight arm curls...just superset both
I do both, what am I?
moronic
-ly strong

Still it’s humbling that I’m lifting so little
Incline DB Press and Pec Deck are the only two exercises that I use for chest

Similar to me. Today I’m doing:
>bench press
>deadlift
>incline do press
>chest fly
>pec deck
I’ll have more time at the gym today so I might throw in another exercise we’ll see.
Incline press and dumbbell pullovers together will make you bigger than 90% of the population
*snaps your shit up*
Pic rel is the undisputed GOAT
Be more flexible
I can use the 140 lb dumbbells for full range of motion and sometimes farther because I sometimes hit the floor
Currently, I do incline cambered bar bench, and flat db press.
Oh, and cable flys.
x doubt
You can believe whatever you wish, my boy.
But I am telling the truth
What’s the ideal angle on these?
45
45 or 30
60 degrees makes it way too shoulder dominant
yes but you gotta twist those dumbbells a bit if you don't want your rotator cuffs to get fricked

>reverse incline press
