>Get IST in universe
>Require constant roid injections
>If you don't take your injections you go through roid rage and go on mass murder spree
Why are they trying to stop us from using roids?
Nothing Ever Happens Shirt $21.68 |
Ape Out Shirt $21.68 |
Nothing Ever Happens Shirt $21.68 |
this is a pretty standard cyberpunk plot anon, it's a metaphor for capitalism
are you moronic why do all the big gym bros in the anime go mass murdering people
Did you miss the part where they explained it entirely?
Chrome is a little different than roids. You're hacking technology into your spine and entire nervous system. Dudes are taking anti rejection drugs that fricks with everything.
This.
If anything the cyberpunk:edgerunners anime outlines the importance of deloads and rests, as to not strain your CNS.
Adding more implants is a metaphor for adding more plates, and the drug they inject to cope with it is an allegory for the "one more rep" mentality.
Remember to always keep 2~3 reps in the tank.
Has absolutely nothing to do with roids, roids just alter the muscles but you don't replace your current muscles with freaking implants. Hell yeah, it will reject implants and any sort of post-op freakshow you've gotten going on there buddy. You're not a troony, are you? Because if you are, then yeah, cyberpunk hates TRANNIES and wants you to jump off a bridge RIGHT NOW!
Anyways, great show,
LIKE I GIVE A SHIT
Bro he shouldve just downgraded before that last job and ran away with his girl.
He fricking died for nothing, so sad 🙁
Bro he got tricked by Faraday to get into that suit, when Lucy regained consciousness and told him what was up, it was already too late.
Sure, thats true. But right before he got the job pitched by faraday he was already doing very bad + lucy knew arasaka was interested in him but for some reason didnt tell him.
He shouldve just stopped there i feel
I think that really touches on the silverlining on the whole story, that nothing is perfect in Night city and that everyone will meet their doom. Sad to see, that Lucy got her wish fulfilled..but at what cost..still cool you can get the jacket in game but I got it before I finished the anime and now it doesn't feel the same.
>lucy knew arasaka was interested in him but for some reason didnt tell him.
Yeah.Basically everything bad that happens is because she was just a tight lipped c**t for no reason.
She refuses to tell him even basic information, but then we're supposed to assume she was super emotionally attached to him.
David was already traumatized and on the verge of going cyberpsycho before the job. The only thing the cyberskeleton did was accelerate the process. The tale is a story of flying too close to the sun and getting burned, nothing more. He should have learned from Maine's death but instead he opted to go down the same path.
Yeah he was already going to go cyberpsycho anyway before he even knew about the last job, for no fricking reason other than he was addicted to the chrome.
>gets the shakes from cyberpsychosis slowly kicking in
>doesn't stop and deload
>"i-im built different fr no cap"
no it's propaganda against moronic spics
To the top of Arasaka Tower!
Take the vaccine, chud!
>Cyberoidtroony
>moron MC
>moron ending plot
>the easy trick of le coomer sexy female aka the zerotwo effect
the artstyle, animation and music are superb thou
>the artstyle, animation and music are superb
That's pretty much all you can ask from the genre.
How much do I need to lift in order to give Adam Smasher the most painful possible death?
>grown men watching cartoons
hate all you homosexuals
Why are you on an anime website then?
You know, while I was watching it I was thinking that the cyber-upgrades are comparable to roids. In the same manner that roid users become dependent on them to keep making progress, the people in the show keep adding more and more cyberware. The best thing that Maine and David could do for themselves was to cut back on their upgrades, and they knew it, but they refused to.
Does the show really end with a "and then they all died omg such a sad realistic grimderp conclusion uwu"?
Because if so I'm glad I skipped out on it. Still would sniff Rebecca's ass and drink her piss, though.
They attacked the headquarters of a company that owns a personal army and is the richest in the world. Guess what happens. This isn't a fantasy anon.
>Is the new cyberpunk anime propaganda against roids?
no its more like anti-organ transplant propaganda. Chrome is like an organ you get bolted onto you, rather than roids. The drugs he takes are anti-rejection drugs so his body doesnt make him go insane even faster than he already was.
All anime is anti Western culture and serves only to further the nipponese agenda.
The injections are for combatting implant rejection
Cyberpunk is agnostic on roids, a small plot point was how you needed to buff up natty to be able to handle the strongman implants like Gorilla Arms or else you'd fry your brain, but the fact remains that you can basically Frankenstein superhuman muscles onto yourself and this is what's recommended by the cyberpunk IST analogue gang The Animals.
It's bad propaganda because David is my new goal (physically and otherwise)
He became a monster and a hulk of metal on the verge of psychosis. Why would you want that?
You wouldn't get it just built different I guess
For the aesthetic
sounds cool. how to sign up?
> the rolled shoulders
> the terrible pec insertions
> tricep.exe not found
Anon, you can do better. I would say his traps and serratus is nice but half his bulk in this pic comes from him hunching forward.
take your meds homosexual
Not really. There's nothing particularly dangerous about having a moderate amount of cybernetics. The problems with cyberpsychosis come when people add too much stuff too quickly and use it too often. So if it was a metaphor the only moral of the story is "just don't do 2000 mg of tren a week thinking you can handle it" rather than "never do steroids in any form".
take ur chun homosexual
No dipshit, it's a commentary on transhumanism.
What it means to be human, how it affects our brain to stray. The psychological ramifications of destroying your body for unnatural power.
Any relation to roids is incidental. Roids don't give you x-ray vision and wrist rockets.
