not OP but after eating 1c (dry) rolled oats almost every morning for a year I've found it's kind of mediocre. Takes probably 300 calories of butter, sugar, and raisins to make it actually satisfy.
Agree that oatmeal is underwhelming, I used to eat it dry by the cup though. Just chase it with gulps of water so it doesn't dry out your mouth. Roommates made fun of me and called me horse boy.
I forgot the specifics of why but I think you're supposed to soak it overnight with a mild acid or something like milk or yogurt I think it has something to do with the availability of the b-vitamins so that's what I always did then heating it with the fixings.
I'm kind of superstitious about eggs I think if I eat them too early in the day my body won't use the cholesterol to make test so I only eat them at night. Dumb superstition I base on nothing but the intensity of my morning wood but I can't turn my back on it. I just skip breakfast most days.
Handful of raisins, maybe a banana, cottage cheese or greek yogurt seems like enough with a coffee. None of which require any kind of preparation.
Yes, you're here. If you believe that sugar coated corn with sugar blood from a cow is a good thing to eat every morning for nutrition and satiation, you're just wrong. You're not stupid, you just believe a lie that's been pushed to you from a VERY young age. Cereal is theabsolute pinnacle of processed food-like products that are sold as actual food in the world today. It is a product, a commodity, a package that can be stored, shipped, stocked, and stacked. It is neither nutritious nor satiating. It is among the cheapest of all processed food-like products to produce.
Did you know that sugar is cheaper than corn? What if you could create a product that utilized a cheaper filler than the base ingredient and then sell it for more? What if that cheap filler took up more space in the box? Lucky Charms realized their marketing dream when they began to jet puff sugar that reduced the use of corn in the box by 15%, then charged more money per box for the luxery of marshmallows in cereal. Profit went up, and pricing went down. If you eat cereal of any kind, not just the sugary children's cereals, you are eating an industrially produced, processed food-like product specifically manufactured to feed slaves of the processed food machine. I'm not belittling you, I'm calling you to escape! Stop eating that garbage, and start eating something that you could easily prepare in your own kitchen. If it requires a factory, chemicals, or unnatural preservatives, it's not food. Period.
Western breakfast is pretty much just dessert disguised as breakfast. >orange juice >breakfast muffins >Nutella >colourful cereal >croissants >marmelade >pop tarts >hot chocolate
Whatever makes you feel better about yourself. Kept thinking westerners eat croissants and hot cocoa for breakfast lol

If by croissants and cocoa you mean processed wheat and sugar, then yes, that is exactly what westerners eat. For every meal, not just breakfast. It just changes shape and concentration, but yeah the western diet is only made up of corn, wheat, sugar, seed oil, and salt. That's it. You just blend them in different ways to get any "food" you want. Kinda like primary colors can be blended into anything, those five ingredients can make anything that comes in a box in an American supermarket.

I'm not the dude you were arguing with, I don't really care. I'm saying that nutritionally, croissants and hot cocoa are exactly the same as doughnuts and orange juice or a bagel and a frappe. You are correct.

Nobody is talking about nutritionally except you.
Pizza is nutritionally the same as tacos but pizza is not common in mexico. Your point is irrelevant
It's a Continental breakfast. It was implemented in American hotels as something that would please European tourists and became more widespread because it's cheaper and easier to prepare. That's how euros like their breakfast. Sweet and carb heavy
It's a standard assortment of foods a non-american westerner might eat. And frankly Americans over the past couple of decades have transitioned away from animal food heavy breakfasts

Its not a standard assortment. Very few people eat nutella, hot cocoa or croissants for breakfast, and virtually nobody eats muffins at home, its an on the go food

M8 nobody sits down for breakfast anymore. Everyone's eating in their cars or at a cafe quickly before work. If they do sit down at home it's to shovel cereal down their throats and run out
>It was implemented in American hotels as something that would please European tourists
Although I was born in American, this must be why I always preferred the continental breakfast at hotels compared to breakfast at home. It must be my brain forming a connection to my Viking ancestry, realizing this is what my people prefer to eat.

Wheaties.

Why not just make some eggs and oats? Super simple shit & super cheap for the budget minded freeloaders and neets. 🙂

pic related plus almond milk plus half a scoop of fruity pebbles protein powder is about as good as it gets imo
>13g sugar
> almond góyslop.
Plz have a nice day homosexual, coconut milk is the only plant based milk thou shalt enjoy.
>muh 10g of protein
less than pure oatmeal with 0 additions, that has 12g of protein per 100g, for a fraction of the price
looks bland as shit. I'll stick with my quaker protein granola thank you very much
enjoy your horse food
How do you guys eat oats? More than 20g and I get the farts the whole day. Tried doing 50g once and my ass was blowing out a hurricane
>eat protein granola with greek yogurt
>spend the rest of the day shitting out odorless but very audible farts
THE WORST
> naturally flavoured with other natural flavours
kek
coco pebbles
Delete this post please, I don't like this meme. I would prefer it not be posted in my thread.
cutting your sleep shorts is precisely the way to not succeed. You underestimate what your body is doing during sleep
Took the bait
steel cut oats slow roasted in the oven with some cinnamon + brown sugar. put 1/4 in a small bowl with just enough milk to make it wet
>breakfast
>cereal
If you're not breaking your fast with protein, you're doing it wrong.
Cereal is garbage. If you're eating """"healthy""""" cereal you are a cuck. For me, it's Cap'n Crunch
Two dozen eggs.
Less expensive and you can eat four every morning for a week.
Western breakfast is pretty much just dessert disguised as breakfast.
>orange juice

Half of that isnt western breakfast so In see how you could be confused given that you just listed random things you think are unhealthy
Please elaborate Anon

He's right. It's called a Continental breakfast.
Are you saying that a hotel breakfast buffet assorment is a standard western breakfast?
