Either you clean it or you use a rack.

I wouldn't bother. You might as well just do seated dumbbell press or focus on your horizontal pressing.

The weights you OHP are piss easy to clean. I wouldn't worry about it.

This, you might as well work on your clean form while you're there

I was in your position for a while friend.
The power clean to push press is an amazing compound that hits every muscle in your body minus biceps and lats.
That one compound keeps your whole body in symmetry, and ready for athletism.
I used to 10 sets of 3 of them, and some chin ups.

you could try doing it as a steinborn lift but in the front. i don't know if that would be any easier

How weak are your cleans that you find it remotely inconvenient to clean up your OHP?

do you clean the barbell everytime you ohp?

Yes. Even though the gym has squat racks, I prefer to do most things on the platforms. I'll only use the racks if I'm doing heavy push presses or jerks from the rack.

My max strict press is 1.5pl8. I do 1pl8 for sets of 10.

I forget the name but there's the very old squat method where you lift one end high up, and control the fall of the weight into a squat position. Could just modify that for your purposes.

      Yes that's a steinborn as

you could try doing it as a steinborn lift but in the front. i don't know if that would be any easier

implied. From there I guess you could Klokov press it or push jerk it to overhead and lower it to rack position, but if you are able to do those things you can clean the weight up anyway. Just clean the weight OP.

Spend 80 dollars on an incline seat and try to sit clean that b***h. Shows you how cleans aren't all hips and quads.
