Same. I used to have the most beautiful long hair, but after I turned 30 it began to recede and I cut it short. It's not very noticeable unless I slick it back or buzz it, but the writing is on the wall.

he's definitely talking about finasteride if he's getting watery cum

The pharmacies in my city only carry 5mg tablets, and they're too small to be split into more than 2 parts. Since I don't have any sides, I don't see a problem with doing 2.5 mg.

                Anonymous

Why bother? Using 2.5mg over 1mg won't make any real difference. The difference between like 0.2mg to 1mg is like 5% increase in DHT blocking for reference, and above 1mg it's basically stabilizes. Sounds uneccessary to spend extra money and increase the risk of sides in the long run for no benefit other being too lazy to buy a pill cutter.

I'm on oral Min (that is, dropping 0.1ml of topical under tongue twice a day) for 9 months now and had amazing eyebrow gains. Lots of hairgrowth all over my body for better or worse, monkey/werewolf like. Even eyelashes, people were asking if i'm wearing eyeliner. Hairline gains are quite weak, sadly.

Also everyone else, do not actually take minox, use only topical. Same reason when you dermaroll you should not apply minox after because it gets through your skin easier and you do NOT want those chemicals in your bloodstream at any significant level.

He clearly refers to the fact op has a perfect hairline however he is outlining the area where his juvenile hairline used to be (they go away for most men before the age of 17).
so OP is pretty much an underage who thinks he is balding because he no longer has a female hairline

Yes minoxidil baby hairs can grow back but if you’re not doing anything to limit the amount of dht on your scalp then good luck, fin / min + microneedling is a pretty sure fire protocol but you need to have patience. It can take years to lose your hair and it can take years to grow back. The fact you’re seeing baby hairs at all means you’re a responder to minoxidil

It's more like 20%, only 80% of men see their hair loss stop on finasteride, even after 2 years. Look at long term studies, only 8/10 want to continue treatment and that's among those who don't get sides

          Anonymous

Eh there could be a variety of reasons for that
After two years you'll have had more time to adjust to the idea of thinning out, you'll probably also see more of your peers visibly thinning too.
I could easily see 20% just deciding it's no big deal.
For me I'm just making sure it won't cause issues getting in the door with a good girl and after that I don't personally care

Again, clinical data shows us only 80% of men see their hair loss stop on finasteride. Why do you think so many men are willing to do worse shit, like dut, RU, etc? Because finasteride doesn't always work and rarely causes significant regrowth.

I wasn't getting pussy even when I had hair so losing mine isn't gonna change a thing. Finasteride gave me really bad dry eyes too.

Dutasteride has little clinical data, we theorize it can work better than fin because it blocks more DHT but there's so men for whom it worsens their loss. Finasteride is better to be on the dutasteride, but the do both come with serious risks

I don't know why you stupid Black folk don't start finasteride or minoxidil as soon as you notice the hair falling. Even if it's too late for you, why aren't you saving for hair transplant surgery? I'm 26 right now but I'm already saving for it, yet no notixeable hairloss. Unless you look good bald (90% don't), and care about looking young, avoid hair loss should be number one priority.

      Anonymous

      >I don't know why you stupid ******* don't get on fin or min

Because minoxidil doesn't stop hair loss and finasteride can potentially cause permanent side effects. Yes, it's controversial, it hasn't been proven and some cases could be psychosomatic but that doesn't make it any better. You're still fricked for life, even if it's all in your head, I mean everything is in your head when you really think about it. MOST studies show finasteride is pretty safe, even long term, the Japanese 10 year study is the strongest evidence in favor of finasteride. But objectively it CAN cause a lot of sides and there's plenty of guys who feel it's caused permanent sides, there are.

And AT BEST finasteride is usually just gonna keep what you've got left (and it only even does that 80% of the time, not 100%). So you could still be totally fricked and for a lot of guys that just isn't worth the risk.

My view is, I wasn't getting pussy even when I had good hair so why the frick would I care if I lost it?

I started balding in middle school
At that age getting fin can be more difficult but specifically you don't notice it or think that's what it could be when you're so young because everyone thinks it's just gonna happen when they're in their 30's earliest
I work with people in their 40's and 50's who still have great hair but I was NW 3.5 by the end of highschool

          It's still pretty bad
I was shaving for years but decided to give fin and min a try 8 months ago which is when I stopped shaving my head
I started too late to save everything and I'm not one of those lucky guys who just got every thing back within 2 months
But it did improve and I'm still noticing shorter hairs coming out at the edge of my slightly improving hairline
          I'm somewhere between a NW2.5 and NW3 right now
But overall my hairline is still really bad and I'm not sure what to do with it
If I shave it I have gay alien skull and if I keep it I'll look 20 years older
I was also born with a big forehead already so basically multiply my Norwood by 1.3 times
          Probably gonna die a KHHV
I've considered getting a hair transplant before but by the time I have enough comfortably saved up I'll be much older and I'm not even sure what I would do with a better hairline because I never got to a styling phase before I lost it (currently 23 and I think the way I look scares girls)

Ive never had problems with my hair but I might start TRT soon and want to know what to do in case problems start.
The only thing that works is fin, minox and microneedling right?
Is there a quick guide out there about the dosages and stuff? Just want to get informed about it, hopefully I dont have to deal with it though.

      Anonymous

Microneedling doesn't really work that well and has a lot of risks. Minoxidil sorta works but not that well and it's a pain to apply. You really just need finasteride, but TRT and fin can cause estrogen to go up so you probably need an aromatase inhibiter as well. Finasteride and TRT both can cause permanent sexual side effects so just be mindful of that risk you're taking .

    Uh bros...

I started finasteride in november '22, been taking 0.5mg daily since then. In the beginning I had some brain fog but it past, dick was the same, hell actually my libido improved in the beginning big time, then settled almost back to normal but still higher than previous.

Anyway I decided to take a break from it as some people take two weeks to a month off every half year. I'm a week in and I think I feel a bit mentally sharper than before, welp. I find it easier to read now for example and just feel sharper in general. Nothing else is different tho. Could well be a placebo effect however. Idk.

So the choice is keep my damn good looks and be slightly dumber or go bald and be slightly smarter lmao. Tough call tbh.

      Anonymous

I mean it could technically be placebo but finasteride absolutely can cause metal problems, it inhibits neurosteroids and your brain does need DHT, raising DHT can improve mood and focus, look at studies on the metal benefits of creatine. I noticed some brain fog on fin, tiredness, but I was only on a month so maybe it would have gone away, that stuff wasn't unbearable. What WAS unbearable was the dry eyes, I already have dry eye issues and finasteride made it even worse so I had to quit. But I wasn't getting b***hes when I had hair so what different will losing it really make lol

        Anonymous

It could definitely be a placebo, or rather a nocebo, effect as I've read that bullshit on this board for ages from those goddamn bald crabs. I'll see how I feel at the end of the month after restarting fin then. Might also change to 0.5mg every other day as opposed to daily. I wish I could take 0.25mg daily but I can't cut the pill four ways like that.

If you couldn't get pussy before, losing your hair won't change a thing, so why bother with hormone altering drugs?

Can you teach me? I am allergic to reading guides.

Finasteride is the only thing that can save your hair, but it can cause serious side effects and they don't always go away after you quit. But many guys don't get sides, there's no way of knowing if you will or won't unless you try it. I did so I had to quit, but maybe you wont, no way of knowing

Finasteride is your best chance to keep what you have and have some regrowth. Side effects are rare but threads like these have posts that pretend it is poison.
Topical minoxidil is next down the list and can be combined.
Oral minoxidil is tried by some. I haven’t but it will affect your gains and potentially you’ll go werewolf mode as hairs grow everywhere.

I started losing hair in 2012. I coped for a whole two years and decided I would not take anything. Then I tried minoxidil and it didn’t do much. Then I went on Finasteride and it stopped the hair loss completely after a couple of months. I saw some slight regrowth - enough that I was happy again basically.
Since then I’ve stayed at exactly the same point. I haven’t noticed any side effects.
My main regret is not getting on fin a couple of years earlier.

balding literally only happens when there is too much androgenic hormones for the body to actually do anything with. It has nothing to do with genes or gender or diet or any of that shit, every human is prone to balding if they have TOO MUCH DHT FOR THE BODY TO DO ANYTHING WITH. It will roam the body and bind to the androgen receptors in your scalp and rape your follicles. Side effects from fin are placebo from paranoid soi males.
