Is there any non-miserable ways of cutting weight?
I've been on 1500 calories a day for the past two weeks, and it's fricking depressing
I feel like shit all the time and have zero energy

No you just have to power through. Or do excessively large amounts of cardio. Run like 3 hours a day. I’m like permanently hungry. I’ve been trying to brainwash myself.

Yeah you could quit being a homosexual about it. Mindset dictates reality (also your body starts to adapt around a month in t.former 300 lbs)

Protein-sparing modified fast is the best way to go imo. You eat less than 800 calories per day, mostly protein and some fat.

You dont feel tired and you drop weight faster

Why do people complain about cutting so much on this board? It's quite easy to cut and I've done it multiple time without counting calories. Just do more exercise.
I do boxing every other day and weighlifting every other day. Boxing training in the evening on an empty stomach (because last meal was lunch) and then only a protein shake afterwards equals easy cut. With a lot of exercise you'll be in a caloric deficit no matter what because you can't eat enough to compensate (unless you eat high density trash food)

You can, 80% of Americans can't. You are the exceptions here.

Yeah, 80% of Americans don't have the willpower to exercise every day and stop eating trash food. Not my problem.

80/20 rule shows that 80% of people are pathetically bad at any given activity and it's easy to pull ahead into the 20% if you're motivated.

1500 is the recommended lower end. I would not go cold turkey to that. Aim for moderate 0.5-1% bw reduction per week.
Diet is a patience game, it’s about falling into a rhythm that is sustainable.

I don't know your starting weight but 1500 calories is difficult to maintain, especially if you've got a lot of fat to burn. You could bump it up to 1800 calories and still burn fat.

If you're having difficulty even with that, you may need to eat less calorie-dense foods. Also, make sure you are getting enough carbs to sustain you through the day. More fats will make you feel fuller during each meal.

Stop counting calories like a fricking moron and just do some sort of fasting schedule, and in your eating periods just eat meat eggs and fruit only until satiation

You could just try one a week fasting.
Just eat at maintenance and once a week don't eat at all. You're going to be miserable either way might as well limit it to as few days as possible.
