          I'll probably have to adjust my calorie goal eventually, but so far I'm on a 1000kcal deficit losing 1kg every week

          Because, everything has diminishing returns, after a few months you'll get less and less fat loss unless you either burn more calories daily, or, eat a bit less. Happens with every fricking diet.

          I'll just switch to something else once my BMR becomes less.

          What do you mean? The fatter you are the more calories you can cut on, at least to start with. OP says he's morbidly obese; weight will melt off at 2300 calories if you're obese and do a little walking.

    why does it says you are burning 3500 calories? How much exercise are you actually doing?

      It's because I am morbidly obese. I only work out 3 times a week and do cardio also 3 times a week.
