it's alright progress but the rep ranges and differences in strength are pretty wild.

why are you squatting for 20 reps but also going for a huge 1 rep deadlift?
why is your bench comparatively weak to your really good OHP?

you're really confusing those muscles and me too tbh. anyway good job on losing those breasts

      >why are you squatting for 20 reps but also going for a huge 1 rep deadlift?
Tbh I'm just kinda scared to max out on squat cuz I don't really know how to bail out from it.
      >why is your bench comparatively weak to your really good OHP?
I only started doing bench about a month ago, before I didn't train it. I thought pushups would be enough but they weren't so I recently started benching.

Also I focus on deadlift more for all out brute strength and explosiveness, whereas in my mind squatting makes more sense to be something you do for hypertrophy and endurance. But maybe that's a moronic view idk

I wouldn't call it moronic, just pretty unconventional. But you do you.

        >know how to bail out from
squat racks generally have safety bars which stop the bar from crushing you. if shit hits the fan you can also generally drop the bar from you back with minimal risk of injury

        >I thought pushups would be enough
that is wild. do you use any sort of routine, or do you just improvise

I don't have a routine exactly but I've learned a lot online and basically what I do is I pick a main compound movement, pyramid up to a top set (could be an AMRAP, could be a heavy single, basically just has to be as hard of a set as I can possibly do for the day), then either lower the weight or reps or both.
then after that I run through a giant set with various bodyparts I want to hit
then do some cardio or a heavy carry
          for example today I
          >pyramided up to 150 pound bench for 6 reps
          >did some backoff bench sets
          >then did a giant set with pullovers, facepulls, wrist curls and ez bar curls
          >then skipped rope for about 5 minutes (only 5 minutes cuz I was running out of time and had to leave to go to work)

      Yes

405 DL in such a short time is pretty impressive. I'd be interested in a quick rundown on what the training was like for that.

      Good job though.

I just did deadlift a lot, people always talk about you can't deadlift too often cuz of fatigue issues but I literally find squats to be more fatiguing.

      That's me

rn my main goals at the moment are to weigh 200 pounds and bench 200 pounds simultaneously
then from there ill decide if i want to cut down more or shoot for a 2 plate bench
