I still remember where I was when I heard Rich was in a coma. I was walking to the gym while interning out west. Got a text message from my college roommate who also watched Rich’s videos telling me he was in a coma. He died less than a month later.

YouTube fitness basically died when Rich Piana died. You could even say that bodybuilding died when he died. He was always the biggest draw at expos and was always the center of attention for online fitness. Now there is nothing to take his place and it shows.
