Runnergays are fricking deluded. They start running and then spend 90% of their time b***hing about how fricked up they are from running. Lmao born2run
It's only over when you throw the towel. I have no arch at all and my feet are extremely pronated, but I'll keep giving my best while I search for the most optimal way to achieve success.
Damn I have bunions on one of my feet. You have to work on your arches. I didn't even know a muscle like that existed when I was a kid. I used to have flat feet too but now they're much stronger. My only problem is my small bunion and my toes now, it's so annoying
I wonder if I have som bad tendon genes or something
Go and visit a biomechanics podiatrist (not a physio, not a podiatrist, a biomechanics podiatrist).
Mrs had treatment and insoles made, had 10 sessions of ultrasound and red light therapy, was £2k. She has to do calf raises every morning now too.
And if you are in the UK, if you ask your GP to refer you, they will tell you that you just need to stretch, take painkillers, anti inflammatories, etc. after six visits to the GP they will refer to a normal podiatrist, which will take nearly six months, and they will refer you to a biomechanics podiatrist which will air forever and
they will do an assessment and give you shit tier insoles. Just spend the money and get sorted.
Yeah I'm doing everything I can, one of my feet is a little fricked up like pic rel, it hurts my big toe since my smaller toes on one of my legs are weaker and don't touch the ground completely. My big toe is just bent into my toes a little and I have to constantly force it into place with my muscles ane it's pretty tiring
I probably fricked up my big toe joint from playing soccer when I was a kid or something and I have a small bunion now. But I have toe spreaders and I massage it. My joints are probably hyper flexible so my toe isn't as "in place" as it should be and it's just too flexible
I wish it was because of that. I don't even know a reason why I have a hallux. And it's only on one of my feet, the other one is perfectly fine, what kind of bullshit is that
Look into Graham Tuttle/TheBarefootSprinter's functional feet program and do it over and over again until feet are fixed. Make sure you aren't wearing anti-human designed shoes like most modern shit is.
I have majorly unfricked my feet and gotten rid of plantar fasciitis. My collapsed arch on my right foot is looking stronger and stronger every day and is only a little worse than my high arch on my left foot now. My calves and ankles are gaining more mobility and my knee pain from walking like a cripple is mostly gone.
This is not a fast fix, it will take months and months to remodel your feet provided you do the exercises and also make lifestyle changes in regards to what shoes you wear and how much time you spend barefoot (more time the better). Godspeed anon
stop resting your feet on objects like rolling chair horizontal legs
youre stretching the tendon and fricking it up
you won't believe me but that's your fault.
I had this problem for many months. Very painful and bothersome. Eventually it went away after some changes:
1) I changed my footwear from a hiking shoe with lots of support, to a basic sneaker without much support.
2) began squatting and lifting heavy.
3) began stretching.
I think too much support in a shoe was the problem for me. Perhaps an imbalance occured, because my foot was not being used properly. In any case once I switched to a plain Rebook sneaker it slowly went away. This does not mean this method will work for others as Plantar Fasciitis seems to be highly variable and random.
The feet are pretty flexible. The whole bone structure moves around according to your ligaments and musculature. I suspect, but do not know because I do not have the issue, that being flat footed is a combination of things, primarily the inability of the supportive musculature below the knee to contract and thereby generate that springing tension which makes for a well-balance stride. I think you should be able to address the issue through activating the musculature at the bottom of the feet and by working out your calves, basically strengthening the achilles tendon area. This should tighten up the bottom of the foot, because the whole system is probably too weak to support your efforts. >t. I started actually stretching my calves and a standing qigong practice (~20-45 minutes/day in wuji) and my feet size increased by an entire size in a couple months. I think this is the opposite issue that you mentioned, but probably still relevant.
Literally just stop being fat and sedentary holy shit.
i run regular 10ks
Maybe try irregular 10ks
Ahahaahahah, and then you wonder why your feet are flat? Hilarious anon.
Lmao

How the frick do you even become flat footed?
I think it's genetic
I'm almost flat footed. If it's up in the air I can arch it but when it's on the ground it flattens.
It's only over when you throw the towel. I have no arch at all and my feet are extremely pronated, but I'll keep giving my best while I search for the most optimal way to achieve success.
how do i fix this so it doesn't just come back as soon as I run again
Calf raises. Put a towel under your toes, and use a very slow eccentric phase.
Get an ergometer instead of running
Barefoot running x F
This plus toe spacers. Don't fall for the insole israelite either, you think adding an extra layer of cushion is going to fix your fricked up feet?
Stop running
What kind of shoe do you wear?
barefoot shoes
Same OP, same, on top of this I heemed by lower back at work.
Really might jump off a bridge I don't even have a college degree I can't even make a living from a chair
High arch data dump incoming, all you whining about your flat feet need some perspective.
My arch’s are so high my life expectancy has been lowered to 45 years old
When I was born they had to but me on a baby ventilator my arch’s were so high
Mom used to hangout with a lot of pseudo warlocks, she’s blames my body on how she half heartedly experiments with the occult
should've arcanemaxxed to the end
I didn't know this was a thing
That sucks anon

I had this but instead of flat feet I have an abnormally angled one
Cant relate. I have cute and soft boyfeet.
I will murder you anon. I'm jealous
Hey dont be jelaous, just dont walk barefoot, use a cream from time to time and wear comfortable shoes 😉

>big toe bending inwards
do you wear high heels or something anon
Hallux valgus is genetical, it has nothing to do with the type of shoes you wear.
I wish it was because of that. I don't even know a reason why I have a hallux. And it's only on one of my feet, the other one is perfectly fine, what kind of bullshit is that
but how ticklish are they?
Pretty ticklish. Feather makes me giggle X3
Stop wearing shoes
TFW feet so flat doctor laughed when he saw them. Said only option is surgery that would keep me out of gym for months. I refuse.

Had it for years, fixed it by wearing a Strassburg sock while sleeping
Is it bad? I had them yesterday because i run on stairs a lot and it was painful as frick.
walk barfoot a lot. I have the worst flat feet in the world and since I walk barfoot as often as I can I haven't any symptoms.
You can buy insoles to help with that.
stop resting your feet on objects like rolling chair horizontal legs
youre stretching the tendon and fricking it up

I have a stinging sensation on the left side of the sole. Feels like a splinter, just a small area. Is that the plantar crap?!

On a related note howtf do I get rid of this moronic bump on the bottom of my foot?? It also stings from time to time when I walk.
Ah nvm you can't see it in that picture but irl it's like this
