Bingo. If someone tries to “move more eat less” while suddenly doing intense cardio 6x a week and eating 2000 calories of junk food a day instead of 3000, then they will crack almost immediately and gain all the weight back.
If someone does some weightlifting twice a week, walking, and eats green tea, salads, and meat, they will probably be more successful.

I have been actively stuffing my face for the past weeks.
Breakfast is 4 eggs on two slices of bread covered in butter. Dinner is 200g+ of beef/pork with potatoes, vegetables and whatever dressing full of oils or butter. On top of this I will also down 1L of whole fat milk, eat a frozen pizza, and sometimes also chow down a bag of potato chips or nuts. I consciously make a point of never ever getting to the state of hunger, if I just ate by satiety the two first meals + something in between would be sufficient.
Scale has barely moved, I cannot fathom how people become obese. Chubby, out of shape? Sure. But legitimately obese? The only way to get to and maintain that weight is to stuff your face continuously for years.

Next time you're at the grocery store look at everything in the 'snack' isle. It's all zero satiety garbage that can be put away over the course of a few hours (and literally always is).
