FALSE: SPIDERS BELONG TO THE CLASS ARACHNIDA THUS SPIDER CURLS ARE ARACHNIDA TIER
the best superset is one you don't do, sorry op. i don't believe in them
>superset
What's that? You mean a SUPA SET!
ah fuuuuuck
bb spider curls is the way
supersets are supposed to be of different muscle groups
the goal is to save time while not affecting your performance on the 2 movements
you're just spamming curls moron. just do more reps of each one
Says who? my RP hypertrophy program has Supersets for the same muscle group as it’s metabolite training.
Post biceps
You juicin?
Isn't that more akin to a mechanical drop set?
Literally everyone. Natural Hypertrophy is one example that comes to mind. You can check his arms size if that's the game you want to play.
lol, come on.
Take it up with Renaissance periodisation/Dr mike israetel if you want to argue about the minutia over terminology lol.
Yeah, 500mg test-E. Hit 1/2/3/4 for reps natty before getting on. Sure my physique is mid but that’s not what we’re talking about here tho.
>Hit 1/2/3/4 for reps natty before getting on.
Excellent. That means you have what it takes to get big enough that people don't have to ask if you're on roids once you get off that RP horseshit.
Everything works while on gear just at different rates, plus Isratel doesn't insist on training to real failure so those supersets require you to leave a few reps in the tank so you can perform on the next exercise which hits the same muscle.
I meant obviously no but I assumed he'd been body building consistantly for 5+ years and it would be achievable naturally.
Hopped on too early, you wouldn't have been much smaller by now if you stayed naturally and stuck to hypertrophy training rather than chasing strength goals. 2020 you already had a top tier physique.
>Hopped on too early
You're right; the main two reasons why I got on were peer pressure, as my best friend, who has been my training partner since day one, started using gear. The second reason was that it was the beginning of Covid gym lockdowns, so I thought it was somewhat justifiable to preserve my gains.
I know I should’ve waited longer before getting on tbh but oh well that’s life now.
Not really interested in trying any other compounds as I’ve been lucky with having no noticeable side-effects for being on teste without needing an AI.
>lol, come on
I know you mean either obviously yes or obviously no, but I have no idea which one. I've seen all manner of opinions on this board. One guy will get called small, roided, fat, and twink by 4 different anons in the same thread.
To me he looks like peak natty so I'd like to know whether he's roiding for this or I need his advice.
This was me natty, I don’t care if I get dragged through the mud for roiding as I’d prefer to be honest with you.
Last pic I have saved before getting on test-e***
I've done supersets with different muscle groups to get rest time for each while I work the other. I've done supersets by the Mike Mentzer definition where you do one lift to wear out a muscle and then a compound involving that same muscle and it reaches failure before the other ones. I'm not sure what the point of this one is.
I used to superset Bulgarian split squats and dumbbell bench press, I liked it. Still DYEL though
If it hits the same muscle then it's called a 'compound set'. It should be used as an intensity technique like a dropset. You probably shouldn't do multiple of them. Imagine going to failure on a spider curl then grabbing a presumably light weight & immediately going to failure on incline curls for a standard number of reps presumably. Stimulative, but you'll be kinda fricked on the following sets. I superset incline curls with standing curls (swinging a bit), but the only reason I do so is because it effectively lets me do a dropset without changing the dumbbells. And I don't do it multiple times. Once you've gone to failure & then gone to failure very shortly after with a lighter weight, you're kinda done.
I alternate between 1 set of spider curls and 1 set of incline curls, enjoying the distinct stretches each provides. The spider curl offers an intense peak contraction at the top, while the incline curl gives a deep stretch at the bottom of the movement.
I don’t train like this all the time, but when I do the pump is always insane.
Yeah. I just worry about the quality of your later sets because going to failure on spider curls & then incline curls immediately after has gotta just kill your performance on later sets
