ITT: Lesser talked-about Noob mistakes
>Not doing a 0th rep
>Thinking 25lb sand weights weigh the same as 25lb metal weights
>"It's OK if I don't work out within 2 hours of consuming protein, the protein doesn't travel straight through my digestive system and isn't wasted"
>Doesn't know listening to music while working out is $0y for your ears
>Doesn't know white people have to work out twice as hard to get the same results as black people, Asians 4x as hard
Would someone really tell lies on the internet?
IST has fallen. IST has collapsed.
Are you moronic or something?
>doesn't tip the spotter
I cringe pretty hard when I see it
letting your heels touch the ground during a squat
you should be on your tippy toes when you squat
also never use a power rack or any safeties at all cause those are so lame they will cause your estrogen to go up
>thinks it is np to consume whey and creatine at the same time
>lubing the squatplug
>Doesnt know that creatine causes balding
>Asians 4x as hard
tfw exception, outlift everyone at office gym while only going 1-2x per week when they go 5x a week doing ppl.
hello sir
25lb sand weights weigh the same as 25lb metal weights
't know listening to music while working out is $0y for your ears
?????
music gives you pleasure which disrupts your endorphins/dopamine/serotonin levels which ruin the workout. listen to Gregorian chants (God would not allow His music to disrupt your body) or nothing at all.
Ahhhh, so $0y is ess ow why
same principle as a kellagram of steel being heavier than a kellagram of feathers
This is the most dyel thread I have ever seen
Well the first two are true
God i hate you so incredibly fricking much. The /misc/ and tiktok brainrot infested this board so much now that it became nearly impossible to find threads that arent just blatant misinformation, rage bait or political propaganda. Why cant you guys just be subhumans somewhere else?
>Keeping your eyes open while using free weights
When your brain sees that you’re in a familiar environment doing an activity that makes sense, it makes you ease up a bit, preventing optimal muscle exertion. To combat this, you must close your eyes/blindfold yourself and imagine yourself in a life-or-death situation where moving the weights is critical (using drugs helps with this a lot). Your lifts will shoot up and you will use much more of your muscle capacity, which in turn will cause increased caloric burn and faster muscle growth. I’ve found that screaming to fit whatever situation you’ve envisioned also helps a lot
