This mostly.
I prefer things like potatoes to rice in general, but either way is fine. Tons of times you just need calories. Vitamins and minerals already covered from meat and leafy greens and shit, but you just need fuel? Rice or starchy veggies, or even bread.
Yeah rice is low calorie af, why do people eat it for bulking?

you WILL buy a rice cooker
you WILL eat nothing but ruminants
you WILL add additional iodized salt
you WILL eat white rice
you WILL avoid fodmaps
you WILL transcend to higher forms of humanity
you WILL leave humanity behind

People in this thread talk shit about rice and oats but they never mention Barley...
Its one of the most nutrient rich foods you could have from the grain family and historically was eaten a lot throughout Europe as well prior to potatoes and rice popularity, you can also make barley bread or porridge out of it that's pretty dope.
>oats
I remember when half of this board was "oats and squats"
Honestly the more "fwooty wooty fwavor" a protein bar or powder is the more it tends to have weird frickoff ingredients in it that you probably shouldn't eat.
A good protein powder has: protein powder, a small amount of carbohydrates, maybe a natural flavor. That's it.
I'm not one of those "only whole foods ever!" dudes, but, if it's something you're consuming super regularly you should definitely be making sure it's at least mostly from a whole food source. The further you go from basic boring whey, the further you are from a whole food.

that's like saying gas is bad for a car
white rice should be your main fuel
this board is so low performance because it's starving for carbs
This mostly.

average natty 50yo rice eater
Lmao I literally don't touch a single gram of carbs and outlift 99.99% of this board frick off moronic
Bullshit.
Post lifts ketotard.
Keto shills say stuff like this and then never post body
Post body.
Goyslop slave food.
Yeah rice is low calorie af, why do people eat it for bulking?
Because you can easily eat 1 to 2 cups of it in one sitting and it digests faster than any carb
2 cups of cooked rice is ~400 cal. Add some beef or chicken, carrots, bit of spinach. Super easy meal.
2 cups of rice is a shitload of rice for one sitting
t. skeleton
True. Needs some sauce on it. I know it'd piss off Asians but I like BBQ sauce on mine.
Looks too chewy. The only good bacon is crispy bacon.
>The only good bacon is crispy bacon.
Will never understand this. Americans truly have the weirdest taste
You mean burnt bacon?
Kek is it really that bad?

grains are food for cattle and slaves.
>b-but i need my carbs
that's what fruits and vegetables are for.
Every damned diet thread instantly devolves into carbtards shitting on ketotards. It's infuriating, diet talk should be banned on fit.
It's an eternal four-way battle between CICOtards, Peatards, Ketotards, and Vegantards.
CarbChads shitting on ketards is the way of the world bucko
It's literally just two losers
chicken
>tastes bland
>makes you sleepy
>flavormogged by beef, pork, etc.
Turkey makes you sleepy. Chicken breast is a lean meat which is why I eat a lot if it.
white rice is probably the cleanest form of carbs you can find moron

shush, don't let them know or it'll devolve into expensive trendy superfood like quinoa.
Its an acquired boomer/millenial taste, Zoomers can't handle it.
sadly I can only find pearled barley or quick barley, used to be able to get hulled barley in bulk shit was so good
In fact gladiators used to bulk with barley back in the day as far as historical records go so yeah, you are damn straight its good for the bulk.
not any better than wheat, another grain brapfood
>oats
I remember when half of this board was "oats and squats"
TAKE THAT BACK
>buy rice cooker
>make tons of white and brown rice
>gets stuck to the bottom every single time
How do i stop this bros, it makes cleaning it a b***h. I've tried dif amounts of water, olive oil, pam etc nothing makes it not stick
Sounds like you aren't rinsing the excess starches off your rice before cooking.
Use more water, use colder water, or open it before the timer actually tells you it’s ‘done’
