I've been hearing that men should be eating something like 1.5-2 grams of protein per kilo of weight per day.

I've been hearing that men should be eating something like 1.5-2 grams of protein per kilo of weight per day. But is this the same if you are looking to be more "ottermode" like in this pic?

I hope this makes sense.

I'm currently eating about 100grams per day.

That is because they are lean. I am fat as frick, but my legs are better than most roiders simply because I eat a lot of protein and I walk a lot.

      Minus the legs.

I want legs like this. I've been doing shitloads Bulgarian split squats.

I am just confused on what people refer to when they say 1.5-2 grams of protein a day, so they mean as if you are trying to be an xbox huge bodybuilder?

This is why I'm so fricking confused. When people tell me to eat so much protein what kind of body are they referring to.

Do they mean to obtain this body I need to eat that much?
        Or this OP's body?

It's really not that confusing at all, anon.
Presumably you're a few pounds over your target rn so start cutting. You'll need to track calories, macros & some exercise, mainly longer aerobic/cardio sessions.
You'll no doubt start eating less than you currently do, so will want to optimize what you do eat. Listen to your body, meaning if you feel fatigued bc you're only eating chicken & broccoli then add some carbs back in.
Likewise if you're losing muscle mass along with fat, upping your protein & lifting/calisthenics will be your best shot at maintaining what you have.
Without knowing your stats and goals, it's impossible to give any more specific advice. But at least 1g, maybe better 1.5g, per kg bodyweight would be a good place to start.

If so, go check out /fat/ it will have all the info you need to drop the 20+kg required.

you might even need more because you're not going to be on a large surplus. Basically the less calories the more important protein is.

I like how a realistic, natty physique is considered "ottermode" now. Implying you're gonna get twice the size of these dudes by eating more protein. You'll be lucky to look half as good.

I mean you'll be lucky to eat 150lbs of protein and look half as good as "ottermode" protein isn't steroids.

it's twice as true because to maintain this you need either to cut or to eat at a slight surplus as well, so you want to give your muscles everything they need to grow/stay
