I've been laying on my bed for around an hour and I can't sleep. The only ways that could knock me out is if I ate an edible or fapping. I'm trying not to depend on those.

    it's important to get out of bed when you can't sleep. only lay in bed when you're tired. otherwise you are training your brain to think of your bed as a place to be awake.

    I pray to the Lord Jesus Christ. I ask him to have mercy on me, a sinner. I ask him to cleanse my heart and mind of sinful thought, then I repent my sins. I finish my prayer and then lay in bed before falling sound asleep, knowing that there's nothing to worry about. It's really that simple.

    quit weed and quit fapping. Find a book you like or want to get into and start before bed. If you feel like that's too much, try audiobook path. Remember that God loves you.

    Stay awake through the night. Drink coffee, exercise, etc. You will sleep instantly the next night.

    just lay there and let the thoughts come
    think through all your doubts, your anxiety, your positive thoughts
    just think
    once you've handled all your situations mentally and you're ready for the next day, you will fall asleep
    your brain will then proceed all your thoughts within your dreams
    you have now recycled the daily stress
    repeat this every night until you're at peace
    praying before bed helps tackle your worries head first before they torture you whilst being awake
    just be with yourself for some time
    maybe go for a walk in the woods on the weekends and leave your phone at home
    no distractions
    just soak in nature and think your thoughts through
    once you've gone through years of disrespect to yourself and your soul you will sleep like a baby, because the only worrying thoughts you'll have will be something that happened on this exact day, you'll think through it fast

    take a long walk 3 hours before sleep ~5k steps around 30-45 minutes long.
    Listen to asmr, you may not like depending on things, but this is at least not as bad as the other two options and you can choose a white noise type of asmr like rain sounds or wave sounds if you don't usually consume it and don't want to sleep with headphones.
    Sometimes reading a book before bed will make your eyes tired. Typically choosing a "boring" activity where you don't stimulate your body, but your mind is a good way to get tired.
    Lastly, wake up at the exact same time every day and go to bed at the exact same time. Doesn't matter if you sleep or not. Just close your eyes and think about what fun things you wanna do tomorrow or about a positive subject.

    I sleep like a baby every night. Hardly ever sleep in the same spot twice. It feeds habit and people who can not sleep for the most moronic of reasons. Some quality of the bed not being right or other gay shit.
