I've had really bad gut issues and have lost 45 lbs.

I'm not getting any better. I think it's sibo. I have gastritis/reflux too probably. I'm getting hopeless. Has anybody dealt with this sort of illness?

ya it honestly does. It's been almost a year, not getting any better. Docs have no idea what it is. My gastroscopy didn't show anything other than mild gastritis

I'm not. 45 lbs after 10 months. I have cut out all junk tbh, I just eat rice, chicken, fish, some veggies.

It does feel like cancer but so far my gastroscopy didn't show anything.

My Mom went down a similar path after getting hooked on omeprazole that doctors prescribed her for some minor stomach issue she had. Almost killed her, she lost 35 pounds in 4 months. None of the doctors here knew what to do, she was just slowly dying and nobody could help her. Seeing all sorts of different doctors and specialists, all of them giving her the laziest most useless information.

She went to South Korea and the doctors fixed her in 4 days. US healthcare is an absolute joke

    I had when I was a kid ... I had a iatus hernia

My stomach acid was burning the connection with my esophagus where the mucus can't protect

Try to lift the 2 legs of your bed that are closer to your head

Try to sleep on a stepped angle
    Put something under the legs

    Cut all acid foods

Intermittent fasting helped George St. Pierre after he developed ulcerative colitis. Make sure you get a cancer screening too. Consider cutting out gluten to see if you have some sort gluten intolerance or Celiac disease. Carnivore is a know cure for acid reflux and can help with a myriad of other issues. Sugar and calcium are both rough on your gut so cut down on those immediately. Stop taking calcium carbonate (TUMS) if you are taking it for the reflux and use sodium bicarbonate (Baking Soda) instead. Calcium is a minor stimulant and will increase stomach acid production. If you are on a low fat diet add in more healthy fats to your diet.

I did this and it kinda helped with some symptoms but it made my constipation worse and my burning got worse near the end as well.

I am currently doing 16 hr fasts.

Ffs, first and foremost, most docs are absolute tards. Take as you wish, thank me later:
        >Raw milk. Has L. Reuteri and lactoferrin.
        >Try raw Kefir, either it'll work like magic or it may worsen your condition, keep an eye out on how you react.
        >Raw cheese (virtually everyone is deficient in k2 (mk4, frick the mk7 meme).
        >Get plenty of taurine, glycine (make stocks and broths) in. You need to fix the junctions in your gut, to prevent leaky gut and protein from fricking you up.
        >Try fasting (not dry fasting like a tard).
        >Eat plenty of high fat high quality animal foods.
        >Drink only water from glass, let it never be fricking tap water, only spring waters.
        >AVOID lettuce and shit greens high in such fiber. Virtually useless, just like (unsprouted and unfermented) whole grains. Also gives you kidney stones. No, it doesn't do shit for you nor are the butyrate meme benefits worth it.
        >Eat plenty of red meats, (only expensive) fish and eggs. Shit fish is often polluted with PCB and dioxin + farmed fish is absolute poison.
        >Buy only quality. To illustrate: Plant foods get sprayed with pesticides which will wipe your biome. Glyphosate substitutes for collagen in your body and does even worse shit than that. Strawberries are one of the worst offenders. The vit C in artificially sweetened fruit is hampered, since the sugar in it competes with the same absorption pathway (GLUT). + Let's not get into soil depletion. But do eat organic fruits if you can and it doesn't frick with you.
        >Sleep well.
        >Take walks in nature.
        >DO NOT CONSUME SEED OILS OR SIMILAR MEME OILS
        >ONLY EAT GRASS FED BUTTER/ANIMAL FATS

I'm too tired to type out more/in more detail, this should out you on track. Normies are absolutely moronic on these issues. As soon as you get recommended
        >Fiber!
        >Exercise more, that'll cure you!
You know not to take the other party seriously.

i noticed you said to cut calcium but that it can als help increase stomach acid?

        Anonymous

You said you had gastritis/reflux. That means your stomach acid is too acidic and is damaging the lining of your stomach. Adding more acid is the exact opposite of what you want to do. If you take TUMS in an hour or two you will need to take more from the extra acid putting you in a loop of taking them. Take sodium-bicarbonate instead.

Whatever you do, some anon here may recommend
        >Take betaine HCL + enzymes.
Really fricking look out. You're virtually in the dark and reversing hyperchlorhydria is a pain in the ass.

If your stomach acid levels are fricked, usually it's a lifestyle (stress, sleep, environment, etc.)/diet thing. Get that under control. If you do want to take HCL, do so under medical supervision.

Let me stress sleep one last time. Your body stops producing acid somewhere at night. You should be sound asleep then. By the time morning comes, it'll start producing acid again. That's when you should eat and be awake. Sleep on your left side to reduce reflux symptoms. Get a tilted bed if you have to.

Ya I'm worried about betaine hcl messing up my gastritis but why are enzymes bad?

            Anonymous

They aren't bad as a kick start, but you may land in the situation steroid users find themselves in with testosterone. At some point they stop producing it. Overuse of enzymes can have a similar effect, where now, your body stops producing the enzymes.

I'm generally very careful with taking stuff. You can try, but just be extremely careful, is my point. And if you do take stuff, make sure to never cheap out. It's a good rule to follow with food/medicine/etc. Pay premium, it'll be worth it when you feel better. Godspeed anon, and good luck.

Anon, good questions, but don't make things too complex. Just sleep 21:00 and wake up after at least 8/9/10 hours sleep (however much you feel like). Just have a normal circadian rhytm.

As for store Kefir, it's mostly not the same product as homemade. They use a few strains and call it a day. Homemade Kefir on the other hand is full of bacteria/yeast and nutrients/helpful enzymes. One of the best foods you can consume.

Whether to eat breakfast or not, you be the judge. I eat on feel, but make sure to eat high animal fat/products/eggs/red meats. Godspeed anon, I'm off to bed.

My mother dealt with similar issues in the USA about 11 months ago. If you are in the US and have aceess to any other countries health care I strongly suggest you try to take advantage of the other countries health care options. USA healthcare is an absolute joke, if you are relying on US healthcare you need to fix that.
