don't compete, beyond just doing amatuer club competitions just for the test and confidence boost it genuinely isn't worth it, EVERY man that tries to go pro in striking sports ends up with at least some CTE it's just the nature of the game (you absolutely should spar though, otherwise all your training is worthless)
