lmao wtf is this, is he trying to prank his viewers? The video of him saying supplementing BCAAs is what made me lol. Is he trying to be a contrarian as a gimmick or is he literally this stupid

        Anonymous

If you train a lot, then BCAAs can actually be pretty good; that's why a lot of athletes have them during training.
They are useless for the average gym-goer doing a cookie-cutter bodybuilding routine though, but that's true for pretty much any supplement anyway.

          Anonymous

They're useless for the athletes too, who "use" them on camera because they're sponsored by the companies that sell them. Wanna know what else has lots of long peptides? Protein.

            Anonymous

Explain why I tend to hit better numbers on average when I have BCAAs during than when I don't.
Also, explain all the athletes who aren't sponsored by such companies.

        Anonymous

Mike doesn’t complicate anything, the opposite from what I’ve seen. The only things I ever see him push are slower eccentrics and slight pauses at max contraction.

          Anonymous

          You are correct.

I used to try listen to Jeff Nipplehard and do what he suggests. But it was quick info overload, over complication, and nonsense at times.

If you do what Jeff says youll have a 45-1.5 hour workout that takes 3 hours and look like a moron doing it.

Mike gives heaps of info but from what I've seen he's very consistent in his suggestions and it's basic and easy to follow.

Since watching Mike I've had the best workouts in my 15+ years of gym and only taking 45-90 mins.

Later on while I'm at home eating and scrolling. A Jeff nipard reel comes on of him doing the exact same moron rear delt fly and I thought "that explains it then"

You just redpilled me on this. I see people doing really weird shit at my gym all the time, but now I know where most of them get it from. There's still this one moron who intentionally swings the barbell left and right on the bench press and leaves his personal possessions out in the open on the floor and far enough away from him for anyone to steal. I was kind enough and told about it, but he didn't care and told me nobody stole from him before. He just left his keys, wallet, and phone on the floor in one spot of the gym and would go around doing shit without ever checking his shit.

      >The only supplements that matter are creatine, caffeine, and protein powder
if you're talking about supplements in the sense of: something street legal or grey market, which also has scientific/clinical evidence of effect, then:
      >Ostarine (SARM)
      >MK-677 (SARM)
      >creatine (multiple studies support measurable strength gain)
      >caffeine (stimulant)
      >DMAA (stimulant)
      >DMHA (stimulant)
      >HMB (evidence supports reduce muscle loss for undereating, wasting diseases, burn victims, and quicker injury healing)
      >DNP (fat loss aid)
      >ecdysterone/turkesterone (beta-estrogen receptor modulator/possible androgen receptor modulator)
      >yohimbine (stimulant, fat loss aid)
I'm sure there are 2-3 others but those are the ones I know off the top of my head

OP here, I'm 6'1'' and I take supplements for things I have had issues with in the past. My free test is naturally low so I take D-Aspartic Acid which has greatly helped like you wouldn't believe and I take BCAAs (including leucine on its own) and these supplements have absolutely helped me grow when my muscle growth was stagnant and I was recovering from liver disease and my muscles literally disintegrated

How the frick can you have that much muscle while remaining that lean? I've lost a lot of fat before myself. You DO lose a lot of muscle along with it. Simply being in a decent caloric deficit literally kills your testosterone, something enhanced lifters don't have to worry about. If you don't have any testosterone, you're body will just catabolize your muscle along with your fat.

This isn’t that far from the truth. There’s so much that doesn’t work and so little that does that it’s best for most people to just ignore other supplements.
The work required to investigate what works could just lift 1 more time this week than normally. Few supplements make a larger difference than just going to the gym once

"TheScience" is incredibly fraudulent, incompetent and corrupt even in established and respectable fields like physics and chemistry. People who worship TheScience in fields like exercise science, nutrition science, and other meme fields like climate science, gender science etc, are just sad. You could use the word "midwits" but it's more than that, it's not just a lack of genuine intelligence but rather a soullessness due to abandonment of tradition. There is more truth from myths and traditions than there is in their junk science fields.

I have to roll my eyes when I see videos by these drug addicts like Nippard and the israelite Israetel. They remind me of cult leaders.
