The () means if I feel like doing this instead of the first exercise, so instead of bench I might do dips or push ups.
I don't program sets and reps, I don't care about my lifting performance. I just pick a weight I feel like doing for the day and go close to failure for 1-2 MAYBE 3 sets if I'm feeling good, seeing if I can beat my previous rep PR for that weight or previous weight PR for that rep range. I usually do another back off set with less weight after that.
Lifting routine takes about 30 minutes to complete and 45 if I drag my feet. If I'm sore or tired, I'll just regulate it for that day by doing either less weight or less reps. Still trying to do something that stimulates me but doesn't wreck me. Also, this is just how the week usually goes, I don't strictly make sure I'm deadlifting or zerchering on those days.
>inb4 dyel and no recovery
Don't care, I've been steadily getting new PRs. Yesterday I did 245 for 6 reps zercher deadlift, last time I did 9 with 235.

Ok. I admit that I was wrong. This is a very viable way to lift while partaking in sports. In my head I was imagining a high volume PPL.

Mirin, pretty based, i do kyokushin and judo 2 times per week each and lifting 4 day per week.
Judo is obviously pretty cardio heavy but do you do anything extra for cardio?
Im looking to increase my work capacity to add mma to the mix.

Plyometrics, sprinting, distance running. Just shit that works your aerobic capacity.

>Plyos for aerobic capacity.
Uuh anon if you are doing plyos for that it certainly helps your conditioning but if you happen to want to be more explosive you should do plyos like you are doing strength training sets, low volume high intensity plyos will make you more explosive but if you do them in a circuit fashion it doesn't improve your explosiveness that much.
Just a word of advice.

That's true, I think I was just clumping those together by mistake. Although, endurance plyometrics are good for conditioning as long as you're not making them too metabolically taxing.

>Judo only works because they let you do those judo take downs
Huh?
No way bro. I need to literally go home and do extra work and study to keep my job atm. Unless the workout is really condensed it drills into my ability to be efficient at work.
Which with the recession sees to be what every slavedriver of an employer seems to want.
>not walking 12 hours, 7 days a week
No, you
bro where are you going?
He's trying to get home
You're a novice at both
You're fat.
I'm not. If you were intermediate at either discipline you wouldn't be doing both nearly every day.
Why not? That sounds really low energy.
>That sounds really low energy
Ironically this is how you train when you split yourself between bodybuilding and combat sports.
Who said I was doing bodybuilding? I haven't even said what my program is and you're jumping to conclusions.

If you are successful judo competitor, it's based.
If you are 30 years old amateur, it's cringe.
>Training because you enjoy it is... le BAD
>sucking at both activities is... le GOOD
Your body can take more than you think, buddy.
>no striking

*volume, not tone
Tone means intonation or modulation. Volume is the degree of loudness.

BIIIIIIIIIIIIIITCH
>DUDE you just HAVE to train like David Goggins and Jocko Willink every fricking day or else you're NEVER gonna make it
Some people got jobs and working out 6 days a week simply stopped being a thing.
Also Kimura only ever did sports. It makes sense for him.
>Can't work and train
I jog to work and back, and hit weights during my lunch break. Upgrade your life my man.

You are either on roids or your physique looks extremely mediocre from this absurd amount of physical work.
so you you are prone to ape outs? sooner or later you will end up in jail.
What?
I could kill you with my katana
you would fall before my blade as easily as the late autumn leaves
KCHYAAAAAAAA
