Best lift that hardly anybody does in my gym, along with shoulder press.
The trick is to not go for strength and progressive overload (unless you really into that kinda shit/borderline snapcity) but to use 60-70 percent your 1RM and just go for reps instead.
I like doing 5 sets of 6-8 reps and after an hour I get so much dopamine rush for entire day that I feel like I actually did something in a gym and not fricked around.
It's different you moron.
On SLDL you do the full ROM while on the RDL's you barely go any lower then knees because that's where your hamstrings are stretched to the max, if you go any lower your lumbar will take over
>he moves his legs on stiff leg deadlift to cheat the rom and pretend he can go lower than he can >his hamstrings are so inflexible he cant rdl/sldl below the knee, nevermind touch the floor
I find doing back extensions and slowly increasing the weight on them much more comfortable. Deadlifts are the most overrated exercise imo, but its not like I never do them.
> Be borderline obese powershitter > Start doing 8-12 rep SLRDL and focusing on form > Squat gains, ass gains, hamstrings as loose and flexible as a Romanian prostitute > Annoy yoga bunnies at work by saying that I tries a free yoga lesson at the gym and then touch my forehead to my knees to show how much more flexible I became.
i'm done with deadlifts
i almost acked myself again and i'm not even lifting heavy
what's a good replacement? i don't care about powershitting but i want to train my ass and spinal erectors
Brace your core
No, just don't have stuff legs and your spine will be fine

RDL is better
>pic related is already an rdl

Face it, you don't deadlift because it's too hard and you're scared. You're a homosexual.
Just fix my spine bro.
I miss when ISTizens weren't so fixated on their own fragility.
>spine remains perfectly neutral the entire movement
hello dyel, read the sticky or frick off you homosexual kid
Post lower back
about to go deadlift, thanks for the idea OP.

Nothing lights up my lower back better.
SLRDL is my goat.
