the most you can do as far as prevention is concerned is not using drugs or alcohol, because if you have latent psychoses they can be brought to surface by them. but sometimes it's completely unpreventable and the best you can do is find the right combination of medications to cope.
A lot of the people who end up with drug-induced psychosis are too dumb to stop smoking weed or whatever and just end up in an endless cycle. I don't really have as much sympathy for these people.

My mom is schizo. My sister and myself are not. But that doesnt mean we escaped issue free. My sister has depression and is bipolar. I've dealt with depression and anxiety my entire life. Wish she hadnt bred. But if she was sane enough to be aware she shouldnt breed so probably would have been a good enough parent.

this, also sleep enough. sleeping only like 3 hours for one night aint gonna kill you, but when it gets to weeks or even months of like 4-5 hours of sleep, reality blurs and risk of psychosis is heavily increased.

Exercise, socialise, eat properly, avoid stress, sleep properly, don't do drugs, see a doctor immediately if you notice signs of psychosis
