i think it all depends on how you want to look. As long as you're healthy, and you look the way you want to, then just ignore the haters.

I’m just wondering homosexual. I’m pretty fuggin jacked at 200lbs but hitting a 18 min or so 5k and sub 12 sec 100m, I’m wondering how skinny runners compare on short distances like that. I assume his 5k is probably pretty good.
That's not a bad range at that weight.
I managed 12.2 and 15:3# in the same season years ago but at 145lbs. I ran sub 12 but that's when I was trying and failing to get gud at 800m.
Some top tier milers will be capable of 400's in the 47 second range (or quicker) and 50 second last laps aren't unheard of in a race - these guys should be way under 12 for 100.
I think it is silly to imply running in general is bad for you. Done in moderation with proper joint care, running is an excellent conditioning and endurance training exercise. For weight loss, it proves an excellent supplement to a good diet, assuming you aren’t running while near obese. I find your thread silly OP, and I would like to encourage my fellow American citizens ITT to remember that cardio is vital to a healthy lifestyle. If not running, try bicycling or swimming. Maybe a martial art with lots of movement like Brazilian jiu jitsu could help too.
>How did you come to that realization
Idk just that my arm kinda looks the same as his when flexed, they do not tingle lol

I refused to believe the thing gym bros said about cardio killing your gains. Now im doing weights and light cardio on alternate days instead of running my ass off everyday+weights and im getting insane gains

So how much do you run per week overall and when do you rest
I used to roon about 5km in 30 mins 5 days a week +weights +one day of walking for 15km. Now i lift 3 days a week, walk 2 days on 15% inclination for 1 hour and 1 day of walking 15km. I was running my ass off to lose weight when in reality you can lose more fat by just walking long distances instead of fricking your shit up running a lot
Best is bodybuilding. You burn thousands of calories every day just by repairing, synthesizing, and oxygenating all your muscle. You wouldn't believe how much you'll need to eat just to not lose weight, let alone gain it.

By lifting weights.
You could try not attentionposting on an anime website
You have good vascularity. With your endurance-based adaptations, strength work may be counterintuitive and high rep work may work better.
I admire everyone that is athletic, and you are very much so. This is coming from a fat bodybuilder.

Best is cycling you burn 2000kcal in 2 hours.
