Just turned 21, realized I need to take advantage of my youth to build a better body foundation while I still have it. Here's me rn with no training. How far can I get in six months? Just wanna have realistic expectations so I don't get disappointed.

6 months? youll look basically the same but youll feel stronger and youll also get stronger. 1 year? youll look like you lift. 2 years? youll be a lifter and people will 100% think you lift

youll have to ask a barber to do that, you also censored your face so its hard to say

Thx, I've obv got some extra fat on me so I'm hoping if I cut while lifting I can shed some of it and make my proportions look a little nicer in the meantime

Depends on your race. Are you White? Can't really tell from the pic in the OP.

Persian, no clue if that counts as White or not lmao
Got semi-curly hair (only curls when it's long)

Persian does not count as White, no (except for those rare instances of Nordic-looking Persians). Dunno what to do with semi-curly hair.

kek I just started doing the same at 30 starting in October.

So far the gains have been insane.

Would probably have started earlier but it took me literally a decade to get over chronic injuries. Tried to suicide so many times and went through such endless misery, never realized that one day I'd be free of the pain.

Just needed CBD to manage the pain and be able to exercise and sleep/recover and that was the key to getting over my injuries finally. Since it became legal and commonly available I've been able to fix my life. Now I don't use CBD at all because I don't need it anymore.

Can relate, am sorta in a similar position right now (may have been looking up nitrogen tanks for an exit bag a couple days ago...). Trying to find healthy activities like lifting to fill dead spaces in my day to keep my mind in a better place. Glad to hear you're doing better, your story's pretty inspiring.

just don't have expectations at all, just go all out every time you're at the gym and watch what you eat, it's literally that simple

    >How far can I get in six months?
You can go on a cut and get down to 10-12% which sets you up for a very productive bulk for after the summer.

I'm at 5'10" 170 lbs rn, how many cals a day should I be eating to pull that off? Tdee calculator says I burn ~2000 a day sedentary, but idk the right deficit for that type of recomp/timeframe.

1 year of natural lifting while learning as much as you can about training and nutrition + 3 months on test and deca will most likely get to you the top 0.01% of male physiques.

Not gonna roid, hopefully I can enjoy the process enough that it becomes its own reward. Just wanna be proud of my body, don't need to be top 0.01%.

it depeneds solely on how much time you are willing to give to it.
    >morning run 5 times a week (for at least 45 min)
    >work out at least 3 times a week
    >have some other regular sport activity with friends
    >go wild while dancing at a club, just have fun
    >regular sleep
    >dont eat shit, limit alcohol intake
And you can achieve great progress even in such as a small time frame.
