KEK I was just thinking of that recently. I actually use less weight on cable rows now than I did a few years ago despite being a lot bigger/stronger now, but now I use good form, keeping my torso still and going slow. Whereas before I was moving big weights but leaning back and jerking the weight.
Weight is weight, stabilizers are a meme they're just shit like your ass during a curl. It's not "hidden" muscle fibers like 1st year lifters keep regurgitating. The free weight dogma is just insecurity.

In my experience it's the opposite. I've seen so many times people doing less weight with "perfect" form where they're doing full and they're skinny as shit. It's true on youtube too. Me. Doing hamstring curls one leg at a time because the stack only goes to 260. It fricking sucks because doing one side at a time basically doubles my workout time. Planet Fatness cable stacks only go to 95lbs, too. Damn shame.
That would only be possible with good form and slow controlled eccentrics plus full ROM, if you deadlift 300 kg, and RDL 220 kg + for reps
