I have this on my whole body.
I've tried everything, even gotten prescription stuff but no good. Dermatologist said I just have to hope it goes away as I get older.

Mine has lessened as I've gotten older (31), but it's definitely still there

Mine went away after eating broccoli everyday and not eating chocolate and sugar sweets at all. Also try supplementing with a Vitamin B (all of the B vitamins) supplement

This shit ruins the aesthetics of my thighs. Tried scrubs and chemical peels, nothing works. At least it seems to be slowly disappearing as I get older.

I got this right after they jabbed me with Heb B shots in our school gym as a kid

Huh, so thats what's on my shoulders. It showed up after a particularly bad sunburn healed. I also have lots and lots of moles on my arms and neck. I'm probably destined for skin cancer tbh

There is no cure but you can reduce its appearance with daily exfoliation lotions.

I've got it on my upper arms and it goes away completely if I'm sun tanning, and comes right back when I stop.

Not true. Have it on my arms and I had terrible bacne and occasional facial acne during my teens and for most of my 20's.

Gets worse with insulin resistance. Had no idea it was a signifier that I was more prone to type 2 diabetes.

Time. All the meme creams and lotions people will suggest do nothing, I can attest to this with personal experience.

Had this my entire life on my upper arms. I'm now 25 and its nearly entirely gone. I think the main reason personally was switching to a loofah in the shower to properly scrub my body and going outside more shirtless (even just being in the garden during summer helps).

For most people it goes away by late 20s or so. For some of us, including me, it is unfortunately permanent. This is what I have found that helps. Doesn't make it go away, but reduces it quite a bit.

    Cetaphil Rough and Bumpy Lotion
PanOxyl 10% Benzoyl Peroxide Acne Wash
    Clindamycin lotion (requires prescription)
Some exfoliating cloth (I like Goshi exfoliating shower towel)

Use the exfoliating cloth during every shower, at least on the areas with KP, and after you wash use the PanOxyl before you get out. Then use the Cetaphil and clendamycin once a day each (one in morning one at night). If you don't have clendamycin lotion just the Cetpahil lotion is ok, the prescription one is mostly to treat any inflamed follicles.

Do that every day and after 2-3 weeks the KP will be a lot less noticeable.

I’ve had this shit most of my life. Get a decent tan and it’s nowhere near as obvious.

this kind of reminds me of the shit I had on my upper arms when I was a teenager.

it bothered me of course but i never went to the doctor for it.

I exfoliated sometimes and tried getting some sun there too, in the end it slowly went away

I have it on my arms. Using a moisturizing cream (straight up blue Nivea) makes it fade quite a bit, but it comes back if I stop using cream.

only thing thats ever worked for me. smells like death but use it 2x a week and bumps are minimal. specifically meant for keratosis pilaris but if your gf sees it in your shower she'll probably think you're cheating on her because the packaging is girly. dont go out in the sun too much the day after you use it, its really strong so it makes skin sensitive

I've had this on the back of my arms forever. I have to pay special attention to exfoliating my skin. I get body soap with abrasive stuff like charcoal and also scrub with a brush or something. Then lotion after every shower. Ive also noticed after swimming in outdoor pools that it clears up a lot, but I'm not sure if thats because of shit in the water or the sun. I think the chemicals in the water have something to do with it. I still have it, but these things atleast help.

Have it on my upper arms. Nothing has helped honestly it sucks. I didnt like wearing short sleeves as a kid cause it would show a bit. Arm skin is bumps and bad looking it has always annoyed me.
