softcore lesbians and bpd bisexual women like men with long hair because they're attracted to femininity
most men are ugly and would look ugly even with long hair
an attractive man with long hair would be attractive with short hair

Funny because in the west long hair has a lot of different connotations, some positive some negative, but never "gay". Gays almost always keep very short well-groomed hair, if not just a buzz, with the exception of femboy/troony cliques.
Yes, and that comes from envy, not from gay men actually having long hair with any greater frequency than straight men.
It’s like a woman calling a bigger-breasted woman a bawd. I think it’s partially ingrained because disgusting long-haired hippies got all the boomer girls, and then after she was passed around she settled for angry short-haired raging boomercel.
yeah point was that you might certainly (especially in the past) get called gay for having long hair, but that's just because gay is a shorthand insult for "girly" not because long hair was ever associated with actual gays
typical long hair associations are >stoner/hippy >outdoorsy man >surfer bro >bohemian artist or academic >unkempt neet
but never "flaming homosexual"
Besides strong features, I think a longer face like picrel and the Native guy the other anon posted are a good face type for long hair.
You're getting offended over things you assume I mean. Its not a question of whether those things are manly, the question is; is it your priority to BE a man, or looking good while doing those things so you can say you're a man?

Would I bother to cut it every other week if it were more troublesome? Probably not. Doesn't change the fact that short hair is much more utilitarian than long hair

It isn't, its factual. Its addressing the things people are afraid to admit about themselves. Your priority is looking good, but you happen to have hobbies. I prioritize my hobbies because they're also useful, which is half the reason why I have them as my hobbies in the first place. Whether I would look better with long hair isn't even a consideration

The amount of women who like long hair, is the same amount of men who like girls with short hair. Sure they exist, and there’s plenty of them, but it is by no means the majority.
Yes but also the amount of men with good long hair is dramatically lower so your competition for those women is lesser. And in my experience a lot of girls that like long hair REALLY like long hair. My wife-to-be crushed on me initially because of my hair.
Would you rather be moderately attractive to as many women as possible or really attractive to maybe 1/4 of the women? After all, you only need to get the right girl once if you have your priorities straight.

Buddy, you're obsessed by the desire to be a man. A man just is. Long hair, short hair, passionate about cooking, riding a bike, lifting weights or building machines from old washing machine parts, it doesn't matter. I hope you grow out of your phase because I've seen good people like you, but at the current moment you're just an obnoxious kid who thinks he has come to some deep truth about the nature of man while at the same time is just reaffirming his own inferiority complexes by constant comparison. And I am not trying to offend you, inferiority complexes make you a better man as they have made humanity better.
One final pro tip from me. The only manly thing is a chromosome you have and b***hes don't. All else is just in your head planted by someone and I hope you understand having shit planted in your head is not the sign of a string person, or a man as you'd say.

Not really. All the things I know how to do (woodworking, welding, wrenching, fighting, firearms, lifting/sports/exercise) should be normal for men. I'm just constantly baffled by people who think it should be normal NOT to do them just because of modernity. Everyone who doesn't aspire to learn these things puts shame on their ancestors

Not dissing on long hair, but he'd look good regardless. Long hair isn't a panacea.
Had long hair my last couple years of college and the most female attention I got was by far on this period.
I made sure it looked good by keeping it clean, using conditioner and making sure I brushed it every other day for about 2 mins to prevent any knots. The only people hating were dudes, girls would stare and either compliment or ask me about it. I dated this qt field hockey player and it started when I came in to class one day and she said “dude how is your hair better than mine!” On a particularly good hair day.
Don’t fall for the insecurity. Grow your shit out. But remember, the rest of you has to be well groomed also and you need to give a frick about what you wear too. The stereotypical “gamer slob” with greasy hair and poor hygiene is not a good look, especially with long hair.
This is pretty much my experience too. It works fine and at least isn’t any worse than short hair as long as you are generally a decent looking person in other areas, and have acceptable hygiene. It’s definitely a compliment machine to be able to hairmog women, since men can often grow very healthy looking hair.

It varied. I believe a viking age Icelandic law code forbade long hair for men alongside such things like having the cut of your neck line too low as unmanly, and viking age scandinavians in general, warriors included, usually wore their hair like picrel.

I'll show you manly, what city are you in b***h boy?
Hairchads, how do you keep your long hair looking good? I tried growing mine out during coof and it looked like absolute shit. I think I’m just fricked because its dead straight and parts forward
There’s an awkward stage where it’s not long enough to hang behind your head by default, and it comes down in your face. Frequent conditioning and brushing is critical.
It also might just not be the best style for you so just do what works. I just posted this thread to argue that it isn’t inherently bad and can look great if you have the right features.
Yes I think it’s highly chin/jawline dependent. In general just having strong facial features is important.
Im growing it out right now just because I dont want to pay to have it cut while its under a beanie or helmet 90% of the time this winter. Have a decently full beard thats well shaped. I think I wasn’t conditioning it enough last time so I’ll give it another shot. Do you need a brush or does a comb work and do you ever cut that flyaway shit at the top of the ears or do any other shaping?
I am told you should trim maybe an inch like twice a year for split ends but it’s never mattered for me; I have very fine thin strands though. Brushes are much better for long hair than combs. Get good conditioner, use it frequently. If I’m showering every day, I use conditioner like every other. If I do something that dries it out like going surfing, then I condition the same day. I only use shampoo like 1-2 per week.
The only cut I ever did was to make it more even. I had a short haircut and just let it grow, so it grew out crooked. Just got it trimmed maybe 2” to even it out. Again it really depends on what your hair is like though. The wavier/curlier it is the harder it is to maintain. I am lucky to have straight hair with a lot of thin/fine strands because it tangles less and brushes easily.
Long hair can only be pulled off if you have very masculine features and you're jacked.
Depends entirely on the look that you’re going for, but if you’re not ottermode lean then you should be pretty muscular.
My man ty. This is why I dont listen to shit from the internet bloggays about this. I needed to know from someone whose actually active. Plus sounds like we have similar hair type. It may end up a disaster but im going cocoon mode rn anyway so w/e
I heard it depends on your hair care routine.
You can't wash it as often and you have to actually look at what shampoos you're buying. The 10in1 shampoos won't cut it anymore. You'll need to get shampoo and a separate conditioner specifically for your hair type.
Or you can do that nopoo thing, but I've never tried it so I can't really advise you on that
The amount of women who like long hair, is the same amount of men who like girls with short hair. Sure they exist, and there’s plenty of them, but it is by no means the majority.

How can you bros look at this and say we've made progress since the silver age? Some gay posted a vid recently stating how obvious it was that Reg Park should have beat Steve Reeves for Mr. Universe in 1950. By modern standards Reg certainly had him beat. He was bigger and leaned at the same time but here's the thing, Steve was clearly more aesthetic. Steve had slightly higher bf% and no gaps in his muscles, just perfect everything both genetically and what can be controlled through training and diet. He effortlessly beat Reg.
That's what it should be about bros. Effortless, fun, a good life full of fun and leisure. Fabio looks amazing and always has don't get me wrong but everything since that 1950 show is blackpilling, look at his huge overdeveloped chest out of proportion with his body. It does look morbid I think I'm starting to understand that roastie on X who was criticizing the Reacher guy, who looked like a Norse god before he ever started pinning or added 50 lbs of bulk.
Unironically fun has largely been banned since the 80s. I hear stories from my uncle and the shit that dude used to get up to was insane. Driving dirtbikes over cars in sf in traffic etc. Cant do any of that nowadays unless youre a good boi
Not that anon but for me the most annoying thing was needing some combo of a hat/tying back (also requires combing to look presentable)/product literally every single time you want to leave the house. Unless you live somewhere where it's never windy I guess.
Mine was a mix of wavy at the top and curly at the bottom. One strong gust of wind meant at least 10 minutes of meticulous untangling at the end of the day. Plus you always have to have it covered in work spaces so you hardly ever get to wear it down.
I think the reason why women might find long hair attractive (on a chad like Fabio) isn't the pure aesthetics of it, but rather that it's a signal that the man in question has the means to disregard social expectations and also has no need to be utilitarian in every aspect of his life. The implication being something like >Yeah I have long hair. I have the time to take care of it because I don't need to rush to work every morning and there's nobody to tell me it's against the grooming code because nobody tells me what to do.
Of course you need, to some extent, a lifestyle and personality that actually backs these implications up, and also be physically attractive otherwise., but that's the basic logic behind it imo. It's not about the look itself but the vibe it contributes to.
This
It's status signalling , either you are rich enough that you can tell people to suck your dick if they say a word about it, or you are a "rebel" and don't give a shit
You only need the beard in this situation if you have weak facial features. If your face is masculine and you have a strong jawline, covering it with a beard is doing yourself a disservice.
Long hair is a filter. It can look either really good or really bad, depending on a variety of factors like how thick it is, the texture, the cut, how you style/maintain it, whether you have any balding/thinning going on, etc. Short hair is the safer play, but also more 'boring'.
I'm 33 years old and I've always had relatively long hair going back to freshman year of highschool. Even before that I always kept it medium length at least. But mine is thick and curly/wavy and everyone always loves it. It'd be a different story if my hair was flat, matted, and thin, like stereotypical swedish death metal band hair or anything like that.
Wavy hair is pretty much the sweet spot for long hair, straight/curly hair requires serious maintenance when wavy homies can just shampoo + condition and comb twice a week and get compliments.
>started balding in my teens >not taking fin is not an option >therefore to have any hair and chance of happiness in life I have to frick my future body development and will never grow a beard
In my country aristocrats and very wealthy people, old money, elite educated people, usually use mid long hair.
It's attractive based on the Handicap Principle, somewhat.
An actual member of the elite don't have to appeal to any boss or shit, don't need to do menial jobs or compete with redneck coworkers, can dedicate time to take care of their long hair etc.
A looser instead has to take care of a lot of little stupid shit and conventions that make long hair inconvenient.
I used to have hair down to my lower back. It was fun for a while but I got so sick of untangling it I just decided to get rid of it. Really short or really long is the best, I've tried medium length stuff and the time you have to spend styling just straight up sucks.
I do sometimes miss being Sanguinius-pilled though.
Haven't had a haircut in over 5 years, feels really good. It's gotten curlier as I've gotten older, went from went from wavy to curly which makes it more of a hassle to take care of but its worth. De-tangling is probably the most annoying part.
I mean if you can pull it off like that guy good for you but some people look like rapists with long hair
Same thing goes for buzz cuts
Most makes benefit the most with middle length haircuts

>outdoorsy man
>surfer bro
>bohemian artist or academic
>unkempt neet
but never "flaming homosexual"
Funny thing is that the obsession with fades among Slavs Arabs and Latinos is a recent thing
Back in the 70s conservatives use to call long hair gay
It was. Now everything is gay.
>Most guys who have long hair don't
white guys?
I'm brown and my face looks better when I let my hair long like pic related, I have an egg shaped head
Is it the chin? Is that what makes the long hair work? Is it the same rules as a moustache?
Yes I think it’s highly chin/jawline dependent. In general just having strong facial features is important.
Besides strong features, I think a longer face like picrel and the Native guy the other anon posted are a good face type for long hair.
>offended
No I just think your post is moronic lmao.
>No I just think your post is moronic lmao.
It’s odd that you are accusing others of assuming considering how much more your posts assume.
Kek why don’t you go back to your trve passion of cutting lumber or something.
Good luck
Yes but also the amount of men with good long hair is dramatically lower so your competition for those women is lesser. And in my experience a lot of girls that like long hair REALLY like long hair. My wife-to-be crushed on me initially because of my hair.
Would you rather be moderately attractive to as many women as possible or really attractive to maybe 1/4 of the women? After all, you only need to get the right girl once if you have your priorities straight.
>It’s odd that you are accusing others of assuming considering how much more your posts assume.
Its from what I've observed. Many outdoorsy men here, but many of them who only do it casually as hobbies. Professionals usually have short hair
>Kek why don’t you go back to your trve passion of cutting lumber or something.
I literally am a carpenter
>Buddy, you're obsessed by the desire to be a man
Not really. All the things I know how to do (woodworking, welding, wrenching, fighting, firearms, lifting/sports/exercise) should be normal for men. I'm just constantly baffled by people who think it should be normal NOT to do them just because of modernity. Everyone who doesn't aspire to learn these things puts shame on their ancestors
>sure I make $15 an hour and my back is fricked and I’m obese and blow half my pay on beer, cigs, and scratchers, but at least I’m not like that 6’ healthy strong long-haired homosexual!
You're not wrong but I'm the exception
>full head of hair
>norwood 0 if anything
>never smoked
>6'1
>12% bf without ever dieting or cutting
>make 2-3 times that without working super hard
>never had a serious injury from work
I have every right to criticize people based on how I live.
>doesn’t know how to sail
Wow I didn’t realize I was reading the posts of a homosexual
Its not hard to learn. I was also a swimmer and love boating
brother i live in the midwest
Then it’s impossible for you to be a man based on my entirely arbitrary criteria that happen to match my life instead of the lives of people I dislike
You're on IST. Every word is from a homosexual. The only gayer board on IST is /misc/
>A man just is.
Unironically true.
>I literally am a carpenter
There it is. Not to put blue collar workers in general down but I’ve done construction on and off through college; and I’ve met many fat moron losers who base their manhood on their work. I simply will not engage in comparing my work to yours lol.
>sure I make $15 an hour and my back is fricked and I’m obese and blow half my pay on beer, cigs, and scratchers, but at least I’m not like that 6’ healthy strong long-haired homosexual!
Picrel.
Built for BBC
>There it is
libtard homosexual
Lololol I bet you just post online about politics and haven’t even done shit on the ground you LARPing Black person. I agree most on worldview with Evola minus the gay neopagan LARP.
Of course people do, the question is whether those assertions are true or are cope.
That was my point. He said nothing that disagreed with me. Neither have you. Neither has this post.
This is pretty much my experience too. It works fine and at least isn’t any worse than short hair as long as you are generally a decent looking person in other areas, and have acceptable hygiene. It’s definitely a compliment machine to be able to hairmog women, since men can often grow very healthy looking hair.
The most interesting are femcel forums because they’re almost identical to blackpillers on here. A lot of forum dwelling women are attracted to Meta Knight for some reason.
>attracted to Meta Knight
Bizarre
It's simple, they fail in forming intimate relationships and delve into fantasy to cope.
>people make assertions about themselves and their lives based on the things they do
Big if true
Ive got basically the gooses facial structure. People comment I look like him a lot. Idk if its gonna work with a face like that
Yeah, you need the masculine to balance the femininity of long hair, or else you look like a twink or troony.
Literally impossible for me to look like either. Im 32 and 185 at 15%
So you look pretty masculine? Cool, you should be fine
Yeah honestly besides an unremarkable chin due to potato druid genetics.
Do mewing without irony mcbro
Ok
How many fat emo chicks and ugly girls with bob haircuts exist
Tons
But that 1% of hot as frick ones are to die for
Same goes for dudes with long hair
5-7/10 dude with long hair will not stand out much
But that IST 8-10/10 dude with long hair will be drowning in emo blonde redhead ect pussy.
he would look better with a shorter haircut
That’s why he failed as a model and a guy with strong features and short hair became the “King of Romance”
Oh wait, that didn’t happen.
It’s simply true that if you have features to match long hair will look great. Never have I seen chicks thirst online over Henry Cavill as superman but they came out of the woodworks for Geralt.
Picrel is a chart my gf sent me from a chick forum.
Cavill looks better with long hair. It sucks corporate culture doesnt allow men to have long hair
Corporate culture is dominated by old fat balding men and the number one sin is making someone that outranks you feel inferior
he's wearing a wig to play geralt so his hairline is immaculate, his real hairline is pretty receded so he wouldn't look as good as he does in the wig
>When you think you're elf prince mixed with depressed father but really you're elf prince mixed with line wiener
>mixed with line wiener
>sent from chick forum
It is so interesting to see the woman version of ISTesque infographics. Maybe we arent so different
>Maybe we arent so different
that's because this shit's fembrained, incels fundamentally are too, and so are blackpilledcels
absolutely correct, none of the true chads i know irl care about this shit
they're too busy working out, making money, travelling, and partying, to focus on this shit
autistic losers can try to looksmaxx to appear like a chad, but their instincts will never be comparable to the true chads
when i was in uni hitting the gym and "looksmaxxing" to get girls, i gave up when i realized that the guys i was trying to replicate never forced themselves to "improve" the way i did
they got girls by just being themselves, their instincts were optimal for that pursuit
i gave up on trying to be a chad and just started unironically being myself (i still took care of my hygeine though) and managed to get a qt autistic gf because we met through a groupchat in my uni and were a very good match
softcore lesbians and bpd bisexual women like men with long hair because they're attracted to femininity
most men are ugly and would look ugly even with long hair
an attractive man with long hair would be attractive with short hair
you got more attention from women when you have long hair because the group you're appealing to, women who prefer feminine traits, have a small pool of men to select from, rendering you as a small fish in an empty pond
you post on IST, your lived experiences do not align with the average human
Statistically speaking androgyny has the highest rate of attraction so you are a moronic homosexual that doesn’t know what hes talking about as per usual
Honestly dude youre just ugly. Im imagining some computer nerd incel typing your post
That image was made by a gay man
I used to have long hair and I looked like an autist. So glad I shaved it.
Kald?
fine fine, long hair on men can definitely look good. go on, leave us hairlets to our weights
Gay gypsy
>doesn’t care
>posts seething response
Admit that it just fell out of fashion for manly men and that you are wrong.
Picrel.
>Admit that it just fell out of fashion for manly men and that you are wrong.
Or you could tell me the manly things you do that prove me wrong, but you won't because you don't
Fine with me, I'm just stating facts
Not that anon but:
Machining, sport, having sex with women, woodworking, shooting, camping. I also repair my own stuff. You're right that long hair can be inconvenient sometimes I'm thinking about getting a buzz cut but I like the long hair look. It's the traditional warrior hairstyle.
Well see that's my point. You do those things but are you truly into them? Are any of them really a passion of yours? I also do those, and I care much more about being skilled at them than whether it attracts women
>I like the long hair look
This is your real priority
>It's the traditional warrior hairstyle.
At least post a warrior and not a king
>At least post a warrior and not a king
>Charlamagne
You're a moron, anon.
Proof he was a frontline soldier and not just a commander?
Being in the military doesn't mean you personally see combat
I don't care if you are or not, you can ask yourself those questions internally if you choose to avoid answering to me.
I'm not going back and forth about if I'm truly passionate about my life. My priority is to enjoy life and fulfill my obligations as a man. Long hair doesn't impede that. Charlemagne was a warrior and I used his depiction because there are not accurate depictions of people who weren't famous until recently. Look dude long hair is trad and the only people who complain about it are fat boomers.
Lmao dude it doesn’t need to be a passion for it to be manly.
>oh you’re a deep-sea welder?
>well if you aren’t passionate about it you’re actually a homosexual
>post a warrior
NTA but I already posted Washington
The list is so long that that question is comical in of itself and posting specific men would devalue how ubiquitous long hair was in Western military culture; as documented from the Illiad basically until right before WW1
It varied. I believe a viking age Icelandic law code forbade long hair for men alongside such things like having the cut of your neck line too low as unmanly, and viking age scandinavians in general, warriors included, usually wore their hair like picrel.
That's a group of Irish and Scottish soldiers anon
You're getting offended over things you assume I mean. Its not a question of whether those things are manly, the question is; is it your priority to BE a man, or looking good while doing those things so you can say you're a man?
I prefer being, not appearing as. You and many others may be the opposite
>NTA but I already posted Washington
Washington may be american but his culture is undoubtedly british. Station and looking the part of that station were important in british culture. It still very much is. Washington had other priorities than warfare (leadership, statesmanship etc), not to mention cutting your hair today is a lot simpler and easy to do yourself than back in their day. Would I bother to cut it every other week if it were more troublesome? Probably not. Doesn't change the fact that short hair is much more utilitarian than long hair
All these mealy mouthed passive aggressive posts are not very manly
>passive aggressive
Not my fault you interpret them that way
I'll show you manly, what city are you in b***h boy?
>but are you truly into them
low-t
Here’s the most famous snowboarder of all time
Here’s one of the best rugby forwards alive. I am also a forward (lock) in rugby.
VGH... CHABAL!
our french neanderthal
And it fell out of style for a reason. a la Titus absolutely MOGS the gay little ponytails they proceeded.
long hair looks bad on men when they have a high hairline.
Fabio has a high and even receding hairline, therefore your claim is wrong.
Depends entirely on the look that you’re going for, but if you’re not ottermode lean then you should be pretty muscular.
My man ty. This is why I dont listen to shit from the internet bloggays about this. I needed to know from someone whose actually active. Plus sounds like we have similar hair type. It may end up a disaster but im going cocoon mode rn anyway so w/e
>frequent brushing
Said as someone who doesn't know what the frick they're talking about.
I heard it depends on your hair care routine.
You can't wash it as often and you have to actually look at what shampoos you're buying. The 10in1 shampoos won't cut it anymore. You'll need to get shampoo and a separate conditioner specifically for your hair type.
Or you can do that nopoo thing, but I've never tried it so I can't really advise you on that
Long hair can only be pulled off if you have very masculine features and you're jacked.
The amount of women who like long hair, is the same amount of men who like girls with short hair. Sure they exist, and there’s plenty of them, but it is by no means the majority.
remember when he was riding that rollercoaster and hit a goose
>riding a fairground ride
>still manages to look like he just stepped out of a Frank Frazetta canvas
Not dissing on long hair, but he'd look good regardless. Long hair isn't a panacea.
See?
Wow he looks better
looks way better
long hair is gay as frick and annoying dont do it
strong argument
never realized he had such fat areolas
This is true but people will get upset and call you a homosexual if you do anything that makes them feel inadequate.
people seething have shitty hairlines
like me
It's a hassle to maintain. He got paid for having long hair.
No it's not
Not that anon but for me the most annoying thing was needing some combo of a hat/tying back (also requires combing to look presentable)/product literally every single time you want to leave the house.
The implication being something like
>Yeah I have long hair.
Both are pretty attractive to women
long hair is ok only if you balance its homosexualness with a beard.
You only need the beard in this situation if you have weak facial features. If your face is masculine and you have a strong jawline, covering it with a beard is doing yourself a disservice.
If youre a twink just howls moving castle maxx
Well Id frick him
what an attractive young lady, a symbol of feminine beauty even
Long hair is a filter.
Wavy hair is pretty much the sweet spot for long hair, straight/curly hair requires serious maintenance when wavy homies can just shampoo + condition and comb twice a week and get compliments.
hairlets always claim long hair is gay, but all the homosexuals I've seen frolicking around always have very short hair. Riddle me that, batman
It's just cope because long hair is masculine and majestic.
It just looks girly.
I had long hair
I can confirm it's gay
The amount of time you waste being a self involved homosexual trying to make it not look like shit is soooo fricking homosexual
Grow up, cut your gay fricking hair and get a fricking job
My hair has no texture to it. It just goes straight down with no wave at all. Kinda like Varg here.
I liked having long hair but it's such a hassle
>started balding in my teens
>not taking fin is not an option
>therefore to have any hair and chance of happiness in life I have to frick my future body development and will never grow a beard
Do you live in medieval Europe?
I used to have hair down to my lower back. It was fun for a while but I got so sick of untangling it I just decided to get rid of it. Really short or really long is the best, I've tried medium length stuff and the time you have to spend styling just straight up sucks.
I do sometimes miss being Sanguinius-pilled though.
I've got straight fine hair, it would look shitty if I grew it out. Would consider it if it were wavy though.
Haven't had a haircut in over 5 years, feels really good. It's gotten curlier as I've gotten older, went from went from wavy to curly which makes it more of a hassle to take care of but its worth. De-tangling is probably the most annoying part.
