Korean BBQ OMAD Diet

For about $30 a pop, I can stuff my face with as much meat as possible. I could easily achieve anywhere between 2k-3k calories, and 200-300g of protein in one sitting. I could even eat the veggie side dishes and rice for carbs if I so desire. Not to mention, the large variety of meats they provide, from beef to pork to chicken to even seafood. They even give these pots of steamed eggs included. Would there be any downsides to a kbbq omad diet?

Considering how much food I am getting, it would still be pretty cost efficient though? And 1k a month on food per person is average no?

No... Thats $250 a week. $35 a day. Its enough for a family of 3, eating 3 meals a day. Way overkill for one person doing one meal a day.

Then is there any way i can get as much food for less? All you can eat meat for $30 seems like a steal

Buy food in bulk and cook it? Meat isn't actually that expensive. Just go for cheaper cuts

But kbbq IS buying in bulk. For $30 I can get as much meat as I want. You can’t get bulkier than that

I actually think he's wasting time. Assuming time it takes to drive there, waiting for your meat to barbecue, cook, eat, barbecue since you can't just pile meat on like its a stir fry, having to go home and wash the smell of barbecue out of your hair - it'd take like 1 1/2 hours easy. I could cook up a couple of chicken breasts, eggs, broccoli and potatoes for a fraction of the price in 20 minutes, even faster if you meal prep.

And assuming you just use two pans (one for veg one for meat) washing up is just 5 minutes.

It’s a buffet, the food is done, he just walks in and piles on food in his plate, this probably takes 45 minutes for everything plus the drive back home, I would do this if I needed extra calories
